She was the captain of the cheerleading squad, she could sing like a master, she lacked no self-confidence; she was kind, caring, sweet, athletic, talented and beautiful. All wrapped up in one package. That’s who they all knew. The cool and awesome Lindsay. But they didn’t know the one who was on the verge of death. The cuts on her wrists would be visible if not for the cardigans she always wore. Her family was perfect, and she was just second class. They would never accept her. She wasn’t a jock, an athlete, or perfect, just like them, she was only her, and she wanted to be more. But after one incident, it was like the last piece of thread she continued hanging on to had broken, and that she had too.
