All his life, Luhan never believed in becoming a popular kid or a class genius which attracts all the love from teachers. But he didn't particularly enjoy being an outcast either. 

He never had a lack of friends back in his hometown in China, so what is the reason he's being avoided here in Korea? At a place where he thinks he truly belongs and intends to even work and get married here in this country? 

He tried everything - from buying breakfast for the class to attempting to sit at the lunch table with his classmates - nothing works. It was as though he was transparent in their eyes and this frustrates the Chinese man very much. Then a light bulb went off in his head and although he knows 80% of the time his ideas are almost never good, he firmly believed that this was his 20% of luck working in his favor. They say when in Rome, do as Romans do. Since he belonged to an arts school, he just had to make his appearance stand out!



As Luhan skimmed through the comments on his latest Instagram post, he grinned when he noticed his very own fanclub from back in China dropping him a compliment. 'This is what I'm talking about!' His footsteps got lighter as he walked into campus, humming a little song. (A/N: what a liar, saying he doesnt care for popularity when he has his own fanclub. Pfft!)

"Hey, princess!" Luhan's eyes remained glued to his phone as he walked past the student who had been shouting in his direction, assuming that he was calling out for his girlfriend. 
"Pink hair!" This time round, he did snap out of his own world as he glanced around him. A bunch of students had actually crowded around him, pointing at his new dye job and murmuring amongst themselves. 
'Wow, this is even more effective than I thought it would be...' Running his free hand through his hair, he flashed a smile at the students who were standing in his way. "Good morning!" 
"I see you finally realized that you were meant to be a girl?" one of them snickered. "The pink hair suits your pretty face very much, I must say. Do you want to go out with me?" The entire hallway burst into laughter and it finally sinked into Luhan's brain that maybe, just maybe, they had outcasted him because of his looks that made him so popular back home. 

'This can't be right.' Hidden in the nearest toilet, he had locked himself into a cubicle as he scrolled frantically through the comments on his photo.  of the new comments, two stuck out like sore thumbs.
'This color is for girls.'
'Ewww pink?! #gay #sorrynotsorry'

Even a comment from his loyal follower had his confidence nosediving. 
'You're prettier than me it's so unfair.'

"No, no way. Who said pink hair is reserved exclusively girls? How does having pink hair make me any less than a man?" Luhan muttered as he went on the search page for pink hair. "There's bound to be other guys who have the same hair color. I'll just show it to them and prove them all wrong!"

Every scroll of the thumb only served to make him more desperate until his sight landed on exactly what he had been looking for - well, not really, but close enough. The guy was sporting rainbow colors!

"This dude is practically a unicorn and yet..." his eye twitched in disbelief as he read the comments. "They love it?! How on earth?!"
He might have lost his senses there, but one particular username caught Luhan's attention - CHENSAURUS. It was the same dude who commented on his photo calling him gay. "What the actual ...?! How is this unicorn color swag and mine gay?"

It is way past midnight and I may or may not be high from the coffee I had. I may or may not be able to think or write or talk coherently. In fact I'll probably wake up tomorrow morning and smack myself for my impulsiveness but whatever, as CHENSAURUS says, #yolo

Or maybe I'll wake up and think of a brilliant storyline. I don't know.
