Is darkness light?

Or is light darkness?

Can you shine?

Or do I shine?

The things that makes us unique are the same through everyone.

The things that make us the same are different to everyone.

What connects us if it's not light?

What connects us if it's not darkness?

What makes us human, but also makes us an animal?

What allows for the beast to sleep in a hungry slumber verse roaming the streets satisifying that hunger?

With all things in this world could it be gravity that keeps us down or do we keep each other down?

I want to bring us all up, and never let us drown.

I want to be there for when you laugh or cry, is that really too much to ask?

Just remember I am here, never far, if the world drags you down, you have me.

And I can be whatever you need me to be.
