Lay is the local cleaner, and a way too gentle person. He works nearly everywhere, washing floors in the corner shop, cleaning bathrooms at the village's only pub and trying to keep the little school of the village tidy. He's pretty much the only cleaner and everyone knows him because of that. Despite this, they were never grateful or showed any kindness to him. When they saw Lay doing his job, they liked to spit on the floor just for the fun and watch Lay when he would take a deep breath and clean it. It was their fun, the only thing to do when they were hanging out in that little Chinese village, and it was always so amazing how Lay never got angry or complained about anything.

Lay's life was simple, maybe little boring, but Lay was okay with it. At least that was what he told himself.

Because sometimes Lay would catch himself staring happy couples a little longer than he should. He had never been in a relationship, because unlike his old friends who could have slept with anyone living, he wanted to feel a real love. But in that little high school where he studied, there wasn't anyone who could have taken interest on him and so he had stayed a . Now, being a 25 year old, he understood he just wasn't the type of person who falls in love easily. And, secretly because it still confuses him, he has caught himself thinking that maybe he didn't even like girls.
