"you-noona! Wake up! I need to get to school quickly!"

I sighed, throwing the blankets off of me. I think my ears hurt from all the screaming he does everyday. He should really stop doing that because he might hurt his throat... I get off my bed and drag myself to the bathroom, where I start preparing for the long day ahead of me.

My name is you. I'm 20 years old and I live by myself and my younger half-brother, Park Kangdae, but I don't refer to him as such. I think of him as just my brother, no half or anything. Our parents abandoned us shortly after I turned sixteen and after Kangdae turned eight. During that time I made myself a promise that I would finish high school so that I can work to give my brother a better life. I would work hard so that we can be strong without the support of our parents. I will work so that--

Kangdae looked at me weirdly as I was preparing breakfast. "Why were you talking to yourself, noona?" he asked me, giggling. I rolled my eyes and went back to cooking pancakes. "None of your business, Dae." He stopped talking, waiting patiently for me to finish.

I put a stack of pancakes on his plate while I grabbed a piece of toast and sat down right across from him. Kangdae immediately started to gobble down ungraciously. I swear, this kid eats like he hasn't been eating in a year. I chomped on my piece of toast. Trying to start a conversation I decide to ask him, "Kangdae-yah? Did you sleep well?" He doesn't respond. When I look at him, he's still trying to stuff his face with his food. I guess he really wants to get to school quickly. Shrugging, I yell playfully at him, "YAH! If you're going to eat quickly, at least eat it beautifully!"

Once he finishes and gets his things, we both run out of the house to get in the car. Kangdae hops into the passenger seat beside me but before I turn the key to start the engine, I realize that I forgot something. I get out of the car and rush to the house to get my lucky charms. When I return, Kangdae stares at me with an 'are you serious' face. "you-noona! Are you really going to bring your stupid voodoo dolls with you!?" he whines, turning to face away from me. "Geez, why do think they're your lucky charms? They're evil!" I grit my teeth. These dolls are special to me, so don't insult them. But Kangdae keeps on talking about them and I start getting annoyed.

"Kangdae-yah? [1]Jugullae?" I raise my voice. "If you don't, just keep quiet. I don't want to hear your voice. We're heading to your school already." He shuts up with that and I can't help but feel guilty for telling him that. I don't like raising my voice at him because it reminds me of our parents' argument years ago. Sighing, I start the engine and start driving him to school.

Kangdae, can't you see you're hurting Master?

Huh? What was that? I look around the car momentarily, to see where that voice came from.

Yah! Hongbin, be quiet! She's getting suspicious now!

I flinch. There's another voice. Once I get Kangdae to school, I'm going to find out where these voices are from.

Wait, N-hyung, how can she hear us? She's human!

I don't know, Hyuk.

I pull over to the sidewalk. "Kangdae-yah, do well at school today!" I tell him as he gets off. Kangdae waves at me before running to his class. Now that that's over now, I search the car for the source of the voices.

OW! Leooo~~ Why do you have to hit your Jagi?

...be quiet.

I flinch and turn around, looking at the drivers seat where my bag was. It definitely sounded like it came from my bag. I slid back into my seat with the bag in hand.

Aish, because you hit me, Leo, I yelled and now she's really suspicious of us.

N-hyung, just be quiet already, she's probably getting stressed because of us.

I my bag and look inside carefully. Did someone place something suspicious in my bag? I dig through my things but I don't find anything.

Yah! You disrespectful kids!

I noticed one of my dolls moved when I heard the voice. My eyes widened as I picked it up.

Uwaaah!? She's picking me up!

"Y-you... talk!?" My hands tremble.
