None of this was even planned.

Now he had the chance to see heechul, but he didn't know what to even say.

Did heechul still regard him as a friend?

Was he still hurt?

Would he be happy to see him again?

All the thoughts filled his mind, almost to the point of exploding. He knew he looked stupid, standing there gaping, but he couldn't move.

He didn't dare to.

But heechul saw him.

And he got up.

He headed towards hangeng.

"Hannie..?" He whispered, eyes wide. He couldn't believe his eyes. Was this true? Was hangeng really back?

"heechul?" Hangeng replied, unable to say anything else.

"What are you doing in Korea?" Heechul asked, eyebrows raised. Hangeng laughed.

And just like that, the awkwardness between them disappeared.

As if they hadn't been apart for the last 4 years, maybe 5?

"Come on, sit down. You looked super awkward there. Can you imagine if there were fangirls?"

"Yeah I was waiting for you to say that. And yes, I realized I looked entirely stupid just now but who cares? It's not everyday I get to see my best friend you know." Hangeng replied.

"Says the one who flew to china." Heechul retorted.

"Sorry."

"I'm not angry you idiot. We both knew you had to leave."

"Yeah, sure. But."

"And it's not like you didn't text every so often." 

"I know."

"And it wasn't like you didn't stalk me anyway." Hangeng added with a playful smile. Heechul turned, looking up with wide eyes.

"Y-yah... Who said I stalked you, you idiot?" 

"This." Hangeng said, raising the phone up.

"WHAT?!" Heechul yelled, and hangeng had to shush him. Thankfully they were alone.

"Shush, idiot." 

"Why do you have my phone!!" Heechul hissed.

"Found it." 

"Where?!!!" 

"In a restaurant." 

"WHAT?!!" Heechul yelled again.

"You really need to control your volume." Hangeng calmly added.

"Wait. Did you..."

"What?"

"Did you..."

"Figure out your password?"

"Yeah..."

Hangeng didn't respond, instead gave heechul a small smirk.

"What?" Heechul asked, worried. It wasn't often that hangeng smirked, and when he did, it spelled trouble for heechul.

"And they kissed, passionately. Heechul was so..." Hangeng read out a line from one of heechul's notes.

"YAHHHHHHH!!!!" Heechul yelled.

"SHUT UPPPPP!"

"I can't believe you actually wrote that." Hangeng said, amused.

"... Who knew you'd read it?" Heechul whispered, now red as a tomato.

"Seriously, that was hilarious." 

"Shut up." Heechul said, glaring.

"No." Hangeng smirked again, wider this time as he recited the other parts of the fanfics.

"OMG STOP." Heechul finally yelled.

"Ok." Hangeng smiled. And he did.

"Seriously?"

"You want me to continue?"

"NO."

"Okay then." Hangeng said, laying back.

"So how have things been?" Heechul asked.

"I thought you knew everything." Hangeng said.

"... Yeah, but."

"I'm fine. Just you know, being a solo artist gets kind of boring."

"Boring?"

"Like you have no brothers to celebrate and have fun with. Having had 14 before, it's really strange now. And with SJ as my bandmates, it's gotten a whole lot quieter."

"Trust me, it's noisier now." Heechul smirked.

"I would guess." Hangeng laughed.

"Hey let's take a picture." Heechul suggested.

"Seriously?"

"Duh."

"Ok then." Hangeng smiled and they did.

"I'm gonna set this as my Kakaotalk profile picture." Heechul said.

"Aren't you afraid the fans will know?"

"Who cares? So many of them are still waiting for the return of hanchul."

"I see." Hangeng smiled.
