The Other Side of The Mirror
Description
Mirrors are beautiful, aren't they?
With a mirror, we can see our very own complexions and reflections staring back at us. It's a simple and logical theory, but yet, at the same time, it's nonsensical.
When you trace your fingers across the glass, the smooth, cool, solid surface, don't you start to imagine?
...Have you ever wondered, what would be on the other side of the mirror?
If it existed...what would it be like?
...What if, there was another person on the other side of the mirror, who looked exactly like you, just waiting to take your place in your world?
Behind the frame, the reflective glass, another world exists.
An exact replica of our world exists on the other side of the mirror. Everything would look the same, but that- was far from reality.
...Because if people in our world were cruel, then in theirs', people would be barbaric.
In their world, there is no peace, no law, and no justice. They simply...survive. Lucky ones would be given a mirror- a chance to escape to the human world, to live there in luxury- and they wouldn't take any chance they've got for granted. So, they would stare at the mirror all day long, never letting a chance slip by; watching our every move, planning, plotting and just waiting for the right moment to pounce upon their prey.
Foreword
Hiding in her closet with the door closed, she thought she was finally safe, she thought that she was finally able to stay hidden from the monster that was lurking in her home, but because of her desperateness, once again, she made herself believe what was to remain a dream that was far too distant from herself.
“Oh Mina dear, come out, come out wherever you are.” A sickly sweet and high-pitched voice singsonged.
It had all the hairs on Mina’s body standing, making goose-bumps form on her fair, porcelain skin.
She heard footsteps heading toward her direction. And once again, she’d give herself false hope that she’d be able to escape from this horrid dream of hers, curling herself into a tiny ball and trying to control her breathing so that it wouldn't receive too much unwanted attention.
“Hmm…Come out, come out wherever you are.” Another singsong.
She shivered at the thought of being caught again, the horrible peeled-off face revisiting her mind. She heard the distant sniffing of her tormentor, and she knew that she had lost her chances of freeing herself once again.
“Hmm…are you in…here?” The long claw-like fingers of her kidnapper opened the doors to a closet two doors away from her, and like this, her heartbeat quickened to a pace she thought would have her in cardiac arrest.
First off, nope, there aren't any ghosts in here.
Second, there are no vampires or werewolves or werewhatevers here.
Third, this'll probably be demon-related.
Fourth, there might be gore, and this might be/might be considered thriller.
Fifth, please lower your expectations 'cause I'm new at this (kinda).
