Hi everyone! :)
So here I am with a new story. I've started thinking about it some months ago but never managed to really write it down, so I decided to try and share it, because I really want to achieve it. It'll be short (though I can already see it'll be more than 2 chapters ^^' at least 4...)
It'll be kind of angsty, and I don't mean it'll be tragically dramatic but really more serious than what I usually write ;)
There will be too (and that will not be 'gentle' I guess, so sensitive people should be aware of this).

Here I start with some sort of short prologue, just to introduce you to the background. Please do tell me if it's not clear enough :)

Ever since the Early Days, the world had been divided in two realms.

There was the mortals’ one, called the Earth, where humans lived and loved and died. The fragile and ephemeral creatures wandered over their lands, building their homes on the ground and sailing their ships across the seas, exploring their world as far as they could go, yet unable to reach the sky and the stars.

They ignored everything about the other realm, the Celestial Lands, as this realm was hidden from their eyes.
No mortal could travel to that kingdom, for none of them knew the way and none would ever find the Gate. It wasn’t a place suited for them anyway, nor a safe location. It was the dwelling of immortal creatures, of angels and demons, who had been at war against each other for thousands of centuries.
