Dear select readers and supporters, 

We, The Thirsty Games Team, are sorry to inform you that Black Pearl has been discontinued. When the manuscript from which this story had come from arrived at our building, we were ecstatic - so ecstatic in fact that we made the dire mistake of translating its exquisite Grecian writing into English and making it available to a moderately-scaled audience without reviewing it in all its entirety first. During the past several weeks, we've discovered that a third of the manuscript - arguably the ending- had been damaged beyond repair. Pages were aged, torn out, waterlogged, etc. This leads us to believe that it was the original author's intention for whomsoever would be fortunate enough to find this manuscript in the future to interpret the relationships of its characters and the establishment of the Roman Empire however they wish. We reserve the right to the translations we have already done and will not take them down, but again, know that we are deeply sorry.
