It was already hot, even before sunrise on the empty pier.  The temperature for the day was supposed to be in the 90’s.  You sit on the edge of the pier, hanging your legs off the side, swinging them back and forth.  You’re wearing some jean shorts and a tight fitting t-shirt.  You had tied your hair back into a high ponytail, as you did every other day.  But why were you out here before sunrise?  Did I really come here because of a note I found in my purse, you ask yourself.
