Before our encounter, 

 

studying was the only meaning of my existence.

 

But then i became doubtful of that...

 

because 

 

The truth was , ive been waiting all along..........

 

for something that would change me..

 

"ever since that bloody fight on the first day of school my classmate Nichkhun Horvejkul hasn't returned to school. and i am now on my way to meet him to give the homework from today *sigh how did it turn out like this again?" 

 Tiffany thought as she arrives at a game center...where Nichkhun home is...

"umm excuse me" Tiffany said to the tall man who was sitting at the counter

"im Tiffany is Nichkhun here?"

"Nichkhun?" the tall man answered

"he's--" *BAM a noice was heard

it was a people flying who was just punched by Nichkhun

"you brought this on your self~ now you are going to die" Nichkhun said as both Tiffany and the man at counter witnessing everything...

"Nichkhun!" the man infront of Tiffany yelled

"i've told you already! don't fight in the store okay?"

"But that idiot bumped into me! i was so close to getting to the next level" Nichkhun replied with an unsatisfied look on his face 

"you can't just blame someone else if you lose the game! you can only blame yourself!"the tall man said again

"*sigh putting that aside, you got a visitor" the tall man pointing to Tiffany

"huh?..." Nichkhun said as he scan the visitor who came to visit...then suddenly *CLATTER Nichkhun suddenly open the window and jump!

TIffany who saw all that is shocked obviously

"this is the third floor" Tiffany thought while was slightly open ....suprised

"umm excuse me!" Tiffany turn and said to the tall man at the counter

"i was asked to deliver these."Tiffany handed the homework

"oh thanks a lot" the tall man replied as Tiffany exits the game center and on her way back home

 

Tiffany's pov

 

 that was our first meeting

As the most mysterious freshman Nichkhun Horvejkul is the hottest conversation topic right now

A month ago,

he put three seniors in hospital...even now, if you go to that place, you can see the tragis traces that were left behind(they can be seen very clearly). there are rumors that he  can break cemen with his fist...

So, on the day of school , he was forced to stop attending.

However..

that has nothing to do with me.

I have a dream...

in order to one day achieve my goal... there is only one thing im interested in.

CALCULUS.

aside from that there is nothing that can attract my slightest interest.

i dont have time to brood over other people's lives

but,

even though  that's how i should be thinking...

suddenly out of nowhere Nichkhun ...jumped out of the bush and the he hugged Tiffany to the ground

and Tiffany can't help but be surprised~

both of them are now down on the grass with Nichkhun on top holding down Tiffany's hand

 

"What the heckk is this?"Tiffany thought

"Moreover he is staring at me with a wild looking expression?" Tiffany thought again untill

 

"you... are you a spy from the school?"Nichkhun asked still on top of Tiffany

"eh?" Tiffany replied

"dont pretend to be innocent!" Nichkhun said again as he squeeze Tiffany's hand harder

"it really really hurts!" Tiffany said

"i only came to deliver the lesson notes to you!" Tiffany said again...

"notes?" 

"hmph.. is that so..." Nichkhun said as he lets go of Tiffany while the fragile Tiffany is now holding her right hand with a scared looking face

"you are exactly the same as that female teacher, trying to make me go to school~" Nichkhun said sitting down on the grass as Tiffany gets up quickly and decided to run away.

"wait." Nichkhun said

*eeek! Tiffany was startled and stoped at her tracks

"what's your name?"

"Ti...Tiffany Hwang."

"so~ you're called Tiffany ?" Nichkhun said somehow looks like he's blushing?

"th..thats right! when students can't come to school because of colds and stuff , friends bring lesson notes to them right? hahaha" Nichkhun said gigling suddenly blushing and shy 

"in that case..." Nichkhun said standing up

"you can just call me Nichkhun then, since we're friends and all ...hahaha" he said again this time with a full smile on his face

"HUHHH?!" Tiffany thought while her confused expression was vividly shown

"well later then! Tiffany!!" Nichkhun said as Tiffany back on her tracks as she turned around for the last time and she saw Nichkhun waving....

"Unfathomable, frightening .... these were my impressions of him. " Tiffany thought as she quickly turn goes her way to home...

".... we had a deal Mrs sooyoung."Tiffany said who is now in the teacher's office showing a receipt to mrs sooyoung

"you would buy me the reference books if i delivered them...here's the receipt."Tiffany said 

"whoa thanks so much Tiffany!"

"Nichkhun just won't see me when i go there and it's so troblesome..."mrs sooyoung said as she take the recept from Tiffany

"wha~ she bought so many?!"mrs sooyoung thought

"but im suprised at how good you were infront of a boy♥ " mrs sooyoung says making Tiffany startled..

"rumors say that he's a terrying person you know!!"she added again

"did anything happened?" 

"he thinks we're friends" Tiffany said with a plain face

"whoa!, thats amazing!" mrs sooyoung suddenly rejoice 

"in that case, could you convince him to come back to school?!" mrs sooyoung said smiling

"convince?!" Tiffany said with the most unpleasent expression on her face

"Nichkhun suspension has already ended."

"even though what he did is definitely over the top, to be honest, the fault lies with those seniors...but the school is induscriminate and suspended him from school, so he developed an untrusting nature towards the school"

"so it was actually like this...thats why that time............. when he ask me if i was a school spy" Tiffany thought

"this way i wont constantly worry about him not coming to school, right Tiffany~ah?"mrs sooyoung said untill

"i refuse"Tiffany replied with a smile on her face.

"w-WHY? can't you see this is giving me a huge headache?"mrs sooyoung cried holding Tiffany's hand

"it's not my problem~"Tiffany said turning her back against mrs sooyoung and exits the office

"such a cold girl! heartless girl"bowled mrs sooyoung back at the office

"clearly she just doesn't want to go herself~"Tiffany thought 

"i can't imagine having anything to do with that kind of person"

*sound of school bell being rang signalling the end of school...

 

as Tiffany is now walking home again while reading a book as usual on her hand...suddenly someone grab her from the back from the side alley

"don't move!" someone said covering Tiffany's mouth

"if you make any noise i'll you." someone said again letting go of Tiffany.

"Nichkhunnn?!" Tiffany thought as Nichkhun is now glancing and scaning all over the surroundings

"okay lets go!" Nichkhun said as he signal Tiffany to follow him as he was being sneaky...

"go...go where?"Tiffany whispered with both shocked and scared expression on her face

 

after a while near the river bank

"um excuse me...."

what did you bring me here for...?"Tiffany ask to Nichkhun who was 4 to 5 steps infront of her

"i found a stray dog on the way."

"i left it here" Nichkhun said while rustling around the bush...

"Dog?"Tiffany slightly yelled

"yeah..!"Nichkhun replied

"have a look, its so skinny its like a bag of bones!" Nichkhun said again...

"actually, my opinion on dogs....no! thats not what i should be saying..the truth is im really scared of animals..."Tiffany thought as she remembered the past

*flashback

"teacher Mimi has died!" one of the children report on the motionless laying rabbit as the other kids were crying infront of the rabbit's home.....

"ok! children ... if everyone is so upset how can mimi go to heaven without worries?" the teacher told the children

"teacher~" Tiffany said nudging the teacher from behind

"huh? Tiffany whats the matter?" the teacher replied

"today we have to fill in our exercise books, so can i go home?"unlike any other kids Tiffany was not crying for the rabbit and she have ask the teacher to go home..with a plain expressions on her face..as the teacher was somehow slightly surprised...and aprove her request..

"despite the death of the class much loved rabbit. i did not even shed a single tear. after wards there was a period of time where my classmates would greet me as 'Dry ice'."Tiffany thought....

"Little Tiffany... even though studying is a good thing... shouldn't there be something important aside from that?"the teacher said to little Tiffany....

"what else am i supposed to do~ its because i really didn't even feel one bit of sorrow....right from the start, i never had any interest towards the rabbit."Tiffany thought again...as she was replaying the scene from her past in her mind

*end of flashbacks

"since then....the distant atmosphere of 'animals which also means must be able to love it wholeheartedly' was something i truly hated."Tiffany thought quietly again still watching at Nichkhun rustling in the bushes untill

"Oh! found you!" Nichkhun suddenly yelled as he just found the dog he hid around somewhere near the bushes

"you were waiting for me to come huh? hahaha" Nichkhun said as he was playing along with the dog meanwhile Tiffany suddenly come closer....

"i dont think that dog is a stray~~!!" Tiffany screamed as she saw the colar on the dog's neck

 

.....after a while...Tiffany and Nichkhun are now sitting in a cafe ...Tiffany was digging on a hamburger while Nichkhun is drinking some cola and about the dog...it was delivered back to the owner.~~

"sigh im so exhausted"

"why am i in this kind of place?"

"now that i think of it..."

"who are these people?"Tiffany thought as there are 4 people standing near their table

"Nichkhun....lend me some money!" one of the guys in black jacket said

"huh? its you again?"Nichkhun replied

"come on, arent we friends?"that guy said again ...upon hearing the words suddenly Nichkhun's face become mellow and smiling and lend them money..and the 4  people went their way

"this guys is an idiot." Tiffany thought

......

"so...., how was it?" suddenly Nichkhun asks

"huh?"Tiffany replied startled again...

*bang *sound of table being slam by hand

"don't pretend you dont know!" Nichkhun suddenly slam the table and yelled while Tiffany face was shocked again...

"Hurry up and tell me! how it felt to go to school today!?" Nichkhun said again...

"h..how am i supposed to answer that"Tiffany thought...still shocked and strartled

"school is....it...it was fun..."Tiffany replied

"b..but anyway"Nichkhun said as he sits back down...

"what we're doing right now, feels like friends hanging out in town after school doesn't it" Nichkhun said suddenly being all shy and blushing again...

as for Tiffany  was still opened ....still surprised

"Nichkhun.....dont tell me you actually like to go to school...?" Tiffany said..

Nichkhun's face expressions was saying yes.....

"if you're interested in it , then why dont you go?"Tiffany asks as there a short silence before Nichkhun answered

"because.....im scared...."Nichkhun said 

"i don't know why but everyone seems afraid of me. im always avoided when im noticed...thats why i hate school." added Nichkhun again....as Tiffany was sipping on her drinks and thought

"well isn't he self concious ...truly an idiot..."

"but,.....you are the first one to come to my house!"Nichkhun said again with a slight smile on his face...

"those guys back then.... they were the first people that i met who weren't afraid of me, and also wanted to be friends with me... so eventhough i can't go to school i don't really care..."

"i think you're the only one who thinks that you're actually friends..."Tiffany said

"for example, if they were actually your friends, they wouldn't be scamming you....since i dont really have friends myself im no expert on the matter , but you'd be better off without those types of friends."Tiffany said again as Nichkhun was in silence untill....he suddenly stand up....and poured his drink on Tiffany's head...as Tiffany couldn't help but be surprised again...and now she is drenching wet....

"you're the kind of girl everyone hates..."Nichkhun said walking away from Tiffany as Tiffany was still shocked at the stituation turns around only seeing Nichkhun's back exiting the shop ....but then as Nichkhun were already outiside the shop....*splash and now Nichkhun is wet too as Tiffany just thrown her drink cup to Nichkhun...after that Tiffany ran from Nichkhun with troubled expression on her face as she was being chase by him....

"what's with him?"

"wan't i only telling him the truth?"

"out of my kindness..."

"whats to get mad about?"

after a while Nichkhun stop chasing after Tiffany and Tiffany went to her home safely....

...........the next day.....

"Tiffany ah~"mrs sooyoung called

"have you seen Nichkhun since that other day? she asks

"no."

"is that so?he's not answereing my phone calls either...."mrs sooyoung said again  crossing her arms

"if it continues like this,  in the end he'll be expelled from school.."mrs sooyoung said as she went her own way so does Tiffany

and that thought caught Tiffany thinking ...as she stared at the absent seat in her class where Nichkhun supposed to sit...

.......at the game center

Tiffany entered

"welcome! hmm?"

"if you're looking for Nichkhun, he's not here right now."the tall man said

"oh....im not...ummm...its just...could you say to Nichkhun that if he continues to skip classes he'll be expelled from school? please tell that  for me....." Tiffany said

"bye..." as Tiffany was just about to leave 

"hey wait.."the tall man called....as Tiffany turns back around

"do you want to try playing?"the tall man said again....offering Tiffany to play baseball..

*sound of baseball hitting the back fence from miss hit.....

"why...why am i doing something like this?"Tiffany thought as he miss swung once again...

"if id known earlier, i wouldn't have come.."

"really! that guy Nichkhun really isn't worth it. recently i havent been able to get any money from him!."suddenly Tiffany heard some guys talking about Nichkhun..

"hahaha! if thats so the he really is worthless...and i thought id just found a convinient living cash machine " they continue

"i already told you idiot"Tiffany thought again as she gets ready to hit the next ball

"hmm i think i better focused on the angle..."Tiffany said untill *sound of ball hitted ...

"i hit it !!!"Tiffany thought...as her face was full of satisfaction as she was rejoicing quietly in her mind....and then just about she was just about to go out...the baseball ring Tiffany was surprised to see ...Nichkhun was there sitting at the corner quietly behind the wall...with gloomy expressions on his face..

"when did he...." Tiffany thought as she saw him...

"hmm but whats this?"

"a guy like him can actually have normal feelings"

"but whatever, it's got nothing to do with me."Tiffany thought again as she walks out the ring....passed through the quiet Nichkhun

but then as she just walk in the lobby

"hmm what's this"one of the guy said

"oh you're that school girl that Nichkhun brought along the other day..."the other guy said again...as Tiffany is once again scared and strartled...

"im not feeling well today....just why am i doing this...but when i take a look at his expression , i just can't ignore it.."Tiffany thought 

 

"Nich...nichkhun has always considered all of you as friends.....thats why if....if... you can also be friends with him in the same way then, please be more sincere towards him and be friends with him!"Tiffany said to those guys who have been using Nichkhun to get money....

"what the hell? one of the guy in a cap said

"that guy..."as the guy in a cap was just about to put his hand on Tiffany's head suddenly that guy's hand was grabbed by Nichkhun....

"Nich...nichkhun?!"the guy screamed...in surprise to see Nichkhun...

"whoa!" the guy screamed again as he was just pick up off the ground by Nichkhun with one hand

"you bastards......can you just get lost for today"Nichkhun said as he throws the guy he was holding...and every one of those guys ran

"on the way home accompanied by Nichkhun even though i refused....he was quiet all way along the road...."

Tiffany and Nichkhun now arrived at the stairs to Tiffany's home....and then Tiffany turn to Nichkhun...

Nichkhun was crying...which made Tiffany confused again

"what....what is there to cry about?"Tiffany said

"its not that.....i just feel... really happy..." Nichkhun answered with his eyes dripping in tears

 

Tiffany's pov

why is that ...

when that rabbit mimi died, i did not shed a single tear but.....

this time...

just by looking at his face

i can't 

seem to surpress this feelling 

this urge to cry...

what's with these honest tears?

Tiffany suddenly went closer to Nichkhun and hugged him!

"it doesn't matter... its alright because before long you will be surrounded by many people...."Tiffany said while still embracing Nichkhun and this time Nichkhun was the one startled...

.........................the next day at school

Tiffany saw some bullies....

"what are you looking at? one of the bully who was holding the colar of the guy said

"ah nothing! dont mind me" Tiffany said and quickly turned away

"sorry random guy ill be able to ger someone to help you in a bit..."

"ah but woudn't they realize it was me who reported them?!" Tiffany thought untill

"whoa!!" she heard some screaming..Tiffany turn back to see whats wrong she saw a familiar back defending the random guy....

it was Nichkhun... he is punching the bully....Tiffany couldn't help but be surprised to see Nichkhun here.....as she remembered things that happen yesterday

*flashbacks

Tiffany was hugging Nichkhun...but then

"to me....." Nichkhun suddenly said breaking the hug

"as long as you're with me it's alright to give a school a try" Nichkhun said again...

"hahaha!thats good"Tiffany gigled but then shortly surprised again as she saw Nichkhun's face is slowly leaning closer to her...

"huh?! whats this?dugun dugun feeling "Tiffany thought  and once again with confused look on her face....

"i....i think i like you..."Nichkhun said blushing

"eh?!"shocked Tiffany

"you...you mean as friends right?

"no i mean as the opposite ..."Nichkhun replied

*SHOCK

"on a certain sunny day in spring....i experienced my first love confession from a man..."

*end of flashbacks

"......and the next day Nichkhun actually came to school....." 

"Tiffany..ah!! my legs are frozen and i can't move!"Nichkhun who was still outside the school fence scream to Tiffany 

"who said you had to do such a thing~!"Tiffany replied

"it seems that he really is scared of the school...

like how a duckling follows its mother, he gingerly followed my lead..."Tiffany thought as Nichkhun was closely following Tiffany behind while looking fragile

"heh .whats up with that guy?" someone said....

"huh??!" Nichkhun suddenly said with a little sense of anger in his tone....while Tiffany continued walking and pretend she doesn't know him....

"in any case the seat next to me is finally occupied."

"im still shocked that you actually came..."Tiffany said to Nichkhun 

"well i did....."Nichkhun replied calmly as Tiffany doing her usual self reading reference books while her chin leaned on her left hand...

"i concentrated on the reference book, trying not to think about what he said yesterday."Tiffany thought while blushing alone....

*flashbacks

"wait...wait a moment!" Tiffany yelled

"i...i think that because you don't have any other friends... you're misunderstanding your feelings"Tiffany said again as she pulled a step back away from Nichkhun who just confessed his feelings...

"huh?" Nichkhun said confused

"so you're saying its because of my situation , desperate for friends."Nichkhun added....

"so he did thought the same thing"Tiffany thought....

"i understand." Nichkhun said as he looks away to his left but then....

"but even if the situation was diferent....i'd definitely still love you." Nichkhun said upon hearing that Tiffany eyes widen....and once again as she was sweep out of her feet again ..surprised...
