CHAPTER 6

“It’s been a while since I saw you this happy.”

“Is that so?” I asked.

“Yes, you know… since him.” Dave answered.

Dave is a good friend of mine. He’s been my driver since he started driving. He’s always on my side. He knew my ups and my downs. He knew him.

“I know.” I sigh.

I don’t really want to think about him, but he’s part of me. And I know Dave is concern because I’m going down that road again. As if the first time wasn’t enough to destroy me. I should have said goodbye to him long time ago, but I can’t let go. He played a big part in my life, it hurts to see him leave. But this time I will let go. I will find a closure for myself. I will let him go.

“Can we go to the park?”

“Huh? Which park?” Dave asked.

“To our park.”

“Are you sure?” he asked, his voice coated with concern.

“Yes.”

We drove in silence. That’s what I’m thankful of Dave. He understands. He always does. He knows I needed the time to think, so he let me have some.

“I don’t know if this is a good idea.” Dave said, eyeing me on the rearview mirror.

“It’s fine, I have Mino.” Just the thought of him set me on my greatest mood. I pull out my phone to send him a message, but he beats me to it.

“I won’t ever going to sleep and I’m definitely blaming you.”

“Hi you too, are you home already?”

“Yep, just walked inside. Are you home?”

“Not yet.”

“Go home straight. Goodnight. ^^v”

“Are you a kid? Goodnight >:D<”

“We’re here.” Dave announced.
