Rise to the Top

Description

Kpop has become an international phemnominan over the last few years, producing stars that leave the fans wanting for more. We've all seen the T.V. shows they star in but how much about their daily lives do we actually know?

Foreword

No one's P.O.V.

They have everything, money, cars, fans, fame and fortune. They live in a dream world where everything is perfect, literally everything. Or so one thought.

No one ever seemed to notice the toll such a life had on them or their health. Many nights, they would come home feeling drained and exahsted with only a few hours to shower, eat and sleep. Photoshoots were a daily occurence for some of them, others had  music videos to film or dramas to star in and every time they would trudge through the doors, putting on a smile to satisfy those around them, then be thrown into a chair, plastered with make-up and stylists buzzing in their ear, and finally rushed off to get the job done. No no one saw this, all one was concerned with was the gossip that life produced, living off such rumors as if it was a life support however more often than not, the rumors turned out to be quite untrue.

They didn't complain though, they really quite loved the jobs they were given but sometimes it could be severly overwhelming. Each person has their own story and this is where they share theirs.

Poor Youngbae- he sounds as if he has had such an exhausting day!! <br />
I really like how you've described Youngbae as being reluctant to get out of bed and having dark circles under his eyes- many of us, I think, overlook that fact that even celebrities don't look as we see them on camera all the time, which you have captured in your description.<br />
And I can imagine that it would be with some reluctance that he would give 100%- even I, when I first get out of bed in the morning, feel awfully unmotivated at times to even get myself ready for the day, so I can imagine how much more difficult it would be to still have to put in as much effort as those in kpop undoubtedly do.<br />
Ugh, and I personally hate eating late at night (it gives me indigestion XD) and so, I wouldn't be very happy to be in Youngbae's position and have to eat later than midnight!! I was really happy to read about Daesung making dinner for Youngbae, though- at least he has his band mates to be by his side and make things a little easier for him when he has to endure long, hard days of work. <br />
I really enjoyed this chapter- keep it up! :)

You should add to your tags these: shinee, 2ne1, and any other tags you think is related to your story :) Btw, good luck with this! :)

I really like this concept. Far too often, celebrities are only seen as celebrities; idols, objects of worship...and certainly not the human beings they are and that they deserve to be. This is a realistic idea, and I applaud you for creating a vehicle for this aspect of the entertainment industry. Stories like this can help a superficial society see reality behind the "glitz and glamour" of show business, and appreciate the lives that they lead, rather than pining for fame and fortune. :) <br />
I'm looking forward to the first chapter ^_^
