Park Shin Hye family moved from South Korea after her dad got a better job opportunity overseas at a hospital as a gynaecologist; specifically in Seattle USA. The whole family relocate to Seattle USA. But not long after the move, due to busy schedules between her mum and dad, they went their separate ways with their children living alternately between their houses. Her mum was an accomplished lecturer back in South Korea and managed to find a job as a professor in the University of Washington. The separation did not affect the children as much instead they took it as an opportunity to manipulate their parents! But well if the parents are smart, their children are smarter. Though they may be rebelling in their own ways, the siblings are generally good natured children and would not do things that would ruined their parents reputation. 

Park Shin Hye has a twin brother named Park Yoo Hwan. Both of them has a younger sister named Park Yoo Jung. Yoo Hwan and Yoo Jung goes to the same school whereas Shin Hye went to another. Yoo Hwan and Yoo Jung mainly stayed with their mum whereas Shin Hye who is more of a daddy's little girl stayed with her dad more often that's why they ended up in different school but the siblings kept in contact often which kept their relationship a close knit one. Their parents too never remarried... But... due to unforeseen circumstances, things was switched a little, which will unfold as the story goes on....
