Red Light

Description

Alright, I started writing this after watching red light 100x. I felt a kind of dystopian vibe in the mv and I've been reading Pure by Julianna Baggott and this fic is partly influenced by the first book in the series. Also, somethings here and there are inspired by SNK because I absolutely loved that anime as well. I'm going to force myself to write a chapter a day and I'll probably take a day or two to edit so hopefully they'll be a chapter up at least once a week. If you're following this, please let me know. Knowing I have readers helps me keep the writing flow steady^^

Ps this is probably one of the most bull things ive ever written. I did absolutely no research on the apocalypse or anything like that. I just had this idea and i felt like i needed to get this out or it was gonna kill me. With that being said, enjoy~

Foreword

The last humans have adapted to the new earth, to the new way of life around the beasts. We've created systems, calendars, codes, signals, warnings. We've found ways to minimize our deaths by these savage killers. The only problem now is that they're hungry. We've had to signal the red light more this year than ever before. No time of day or night is safe. They say the only way to secure safely for our new, fragile existence is to kill them, to wipe them out completely. But do we even stand a chance against these monsters? They say it's worth a shot. Under the rule of the jungle, the weak get eaten. We are not weak. We've survived extinction. We've rebuilt a city, reclaimed its former glory under the blazing apocalyptic sun. But they are not weak either. They rose from the molten lava from the center of the earth. Their blood is acid, their bite is poison. But we are not afraid. Signal the red light.

Chapter 10: I.. I don't know what to say. This story left me with no words good enough to describe the joy I felt while reading this. But dayum! This is definitely one of the best stories I've ever read on this website! Thank you so much for writing this! ^^

Chapter 10: D-aaaaam that was really interesting and cool. It was really enticing and I wasn't sure where it was going the entire time. That's the best part of it lol. Good job, very well written as well.

Chapter 10: I read it all in one go and i loved it! I was practically screaming when Vic was bitten, i really thought you were gonna kill her for a sec there. And that little mother-daughter twist you put in really put me on edge. It was a good read. Keep on writing author-nim (:

The story line and how everyone is connected are just something that's really well written. I can't even.....

The twist on how vic and krys are somewhat related >/////<

Oh btw, i'm still curios on how old is krys in this fic. I know i should have just do the math. Lol. But i prefer asking directly instead of guessing and estimating.

Chapter 10: Aww i totally had fun reading this! First i just love that you based on the song haha you did something i want to do but probably wont lol. I love dystopian stories, but with the sudden mass production of it ive stayed away for awhile. However through this i found love in dystopian stories again! Hihihi im really happy that you contributed to the number of f(x) fics out there. Theres really not much about them being a group itself and enduring hardships together. Im just happy to see that they are the protagonists here! ^^ even though it was short i felt like it was the right length for it :) thanks so much again for writing this story! Chapter 10: This fic was an amazing read! Loved the characters portrayed here and the whole last night talk about themselves was very well introduced. Kinda makes me think about the music video in a whole different way. Enjoyed this a lot. I really look forward to your future works :)
