Hello. This is going to be a story of a girl named Carly and the things she went through. She lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with both of her parents. They were having financial problems where they lived and so they were forced to move to moved to California, where they can live with their rich relatives. Everything was different. California is such a busy and outgoing state unlike the town where they lived at in Indiana. Carly's family became used to living in the country and is not used to the city life. 

They were scared but at the same time excited to experience new things. "life would be better here!" they thought. Life became hard for them too. They had to work as slaves for their family as an exhange for their support on Carly's education. They tried to be positive and hoped that someday, Carly would be able to get them out of the situation they are in now.

Carly is just beginning her journey in the big city....what is going to happen to her and to her family?
