Normally, not that it’s normal, I end up sleeping at 3 or even 4 am, though today was that kind of day when I just needed more sleep, otherwise I would have been like a dead man walking. And just when I was about to get into my bed, a phone rang, interrupting the action. Stupid item! I picked it up from a table that was situated near my bed, looked at the screen and accepted the call.

“Oh?” I asked to lazy to speak more.

“Hey, Jiyong, what are you doing?” She asked me with her usual bubbly tone. I was so tired that I took a pause before replying.

“I was going to bed.” I stated with my eyes closed. “You?”

“Sleeping? Now?” She said surprised.

“I’m really tired. You wanted to tell me something?” I continued with a question, though I wanted to end the call.

“Not really, I was just bored and I wanted to talk to someone, and since Bom is busy…I decided to call you.” She said fast, as If wanting to finish her sentence.

“Bom is busy?”.

“Oh…she’s on a date.” She said on the same tone, while I opened my eyes. I took a few moments of silence, then, I said:

“With Youngbae.” I stated fast.

“What? No…, I don’t really know the guy, she only told me that her mother arranged her a date with one of her friend’s son. Again.” She responded with a change in her tone.

“So, she didn’t talk about that with Youngbae?” I asked calmly.

“No, she didn’t.” Dara replied both sad and a little annoyed. He knew that she liked him too.

“Oh…” I nodded as if she’d see me. “Well…I’m sorry, Dara, but I really need some sleep.” I faked an excuse, so that we’d stop talking about things I didn’t want.
