"What happened to my daughter? Why isn't she responding to me?" 

"I'm sorry madam, but I'm afraid your daughter is deaf."

"WHAT?! HOW CAN THIS BE? SHE WAS JUST FINE!"

"Please calm down, we had no idea.." 

"THIS IS MY DAUGHTER'S LIFE RIGHT NOW. I DON'T CARE IF IT WAS ME, BUT WHY HER?!!" 

I was too young to understand anything. I didn't know why I was deaf. I didn't know why my parent's left me. 

Now I'm alone. I know that my mom and dad loved me. I know they did.. 

It's 7 am and I slowly got out of bed. 

The most annoying sound I hear every day is silence. 

Ironic no? Listening to the same sound of nothing annoys me. I envy those who can listen to anything they want.

Anyway, I walk into the bathroom and got dressed and cleaned up.

I sat down on my chair and slowly nibbled on the toast. While I was eating, I noticed my puppy was touching my leg.

"Oh right, food for you." 

I got up and poured a bowl of dog food in her bowl with some water.

I sat back down and stared outside.

"It sure is boring.." 

Jeongmin's POV

I let out a sigh while falling on to the bed.

"Hey, get up. We still have to practice." Kwangmin said while kicking my foot.

"I don't want tooooooooooo~" I groaned while getting pulled by him.

"If you don't want to, then go buy us drinks." Donghyun said while throwing him his wallet.

"Sure! What do you guys want?" I asked in glee

"Uhm.." all of them said at once. 

"Iced coffee.. I think that's what our manager told us that it was the only thing we could get.." He said. 

I nodded and I walked out of the practice room.

"Don't take too long. We still have our schedule at 11." Minwoo said.

"Okay okay." I said while closing the door.

"FREEDOM!" I shouted as I ran out of the building.

I stepped out and quickly wore my sunglasses. 

"Thankfully there are no fans today.."

I walked to the nearby coffee shop and stood in line. 

When I got in, I heard commotion.

"Hurry up would you!?" a old man shouted.

"We don't have time for this." a young woman screamed.

I looked around and saw it was a girl, looking for her coins.

"Uh miss, you can just give us the 5, and we can give you change." the cashier said.

She didn't reply. 

"That's it!" another girl shouted as she shoved the girl away. 

All the money spilled on the floor, and so did the girl. 

Everyone was surprised by her actions, but no one dared to help her.

I quickly ran to her side and picked up all the coins that she dropped. 

"Here." I said while showing her the coins.

She took them gently and started to write something on a piece of tissue.

"Thank you." It read.

"Oh.. no problem.." I said. 

I watched the girl get up and sat down on a chair, counting her money.

When I got to the cashier, I ordered and I asked her. 

"What did she order?" 

"Oh, she ordered a caramel latte and a blueberry muffin. It was 4.50, but I guess she couldn't find any coins." she sighed.

"Is it okay if I help her pay for it?" 

"Sure." 

I paid for the drinks and the stuff she ordered. When I got everything, I turned to see that she was still sitting there, counting.

I sat down and she looked up, confused.

"Here. This was what you wanted right?" I said while giving her the drink and muffin.

Her eyes widened and took the things. She got out her phone and typed "Thank you very much. I'm sorry too. For letting you wait on line."

I was confused. Why was she typing things on her phone instead of talking to me? Is she a fan? I decided to communicate with my phone too.

"No problem, and it's okay. May I ask you a question? Well 2, or 3."

"Sure." 

"Why are you talking with your phone?" 

"Oh.. I'm deaf."

I paused. 

"She's.. deaf?"
