(2 Weeks Later…)

“I can’t believe that I have to go first. Can’t I have a do over?” Yoseob complained. The boys were currently sitting at a park overlooking a crystal clear lake. They just drew straws to see who goes first. It just so happen to be the blond one himself.

“Nope,” Doojoon said while reclining on the bench, catching his sight on the boy across the lake reading a book. “You go first, shorty.”

With a glare he got up from his spot and paced for a while. “What can I even do for him anyways? Serenade to him? Ask him to the movie? Dinner maybe?”

“You’re thinking a little too hard there, Yoseob,” Hyunseung interrupted him. “Just be you, be natural. Don’t overthink it.”

“Okay. Okay. I’ll just be natural,” he whispered to himself.

“You better be quick though,” Junhyung said out of the blue.

“Why?” Yoseob turned to look at him.

“Cause tiny-eyes over there might be trying to steal your man,” Dongwoon finishes for Junhyung.

“What?!” That got the blond’s attention as he turn towards Kikwang’s direction and found him engage in a conversation with some guy with said ‘tiny-eyes’. “Oh, now I’m gonna do something.” Without another word, Yoseob stalk his way over to the other side of the lake.

“Don’t do anything crazy!” Junhyung yelled.

“Be natural!!” Doojoon followed.

“Are you serious?” Kikwang ask while smiling.

“It’s true. But the weirdest of it all was-” the guy was cut off by another presence.

“Hey, am I interrupting something,” Yoseob said with a fake smile.

The guy just smiled with irritation showing in his eyes. “No, not at all. I was just leaving.” Turning back to the shorter male, he said with a more sincere smile, “See you around, Kikwang.”

“You, too,” he said with a cute eye-smile that Yoseob couldn’t help but coo at. Inside his head, of course. Once the guy left he turned towards the intruder with a soft smile. “So do I get to know the name of the Robin Hood that had stolen my attention?”

For a moment he stood there dumbfound before composing himself. “Um, i-it’s Yoseob. Yang Yoseob.”

“Well Yoseob, would you care to sit with me?” he asks while patting the bench next to him.

“I would like that.” Once he took a seat, he took a glance at the book Kikwang was reading. “Oh, so that’s what you meant.” At the confused look, he continued, “I meant the ‘Robin Hood’ thing earlier.”

“Oh, yeah,” he giggled. “Sorry about that. I might’ve been a little weird for doing that, huh?”

“No, I actually found that quite cute.”

Hearing his compliment Kikwang couldn’t help but blushed at that. He averted his attention to somewhere else while asking, “So what took you so long to talk to me?”

“Excuse me?” the blond asks shock.

“We have the same class as well as choir. I think I would’ve known you by now. Especially since you are one of the best singers in class.”

“Oh, that. Well I didn’t think you would notice,” he said while scratching the back of his neck. “You know, I think you’re a good singer yourself.”

“Why thank you.”

After he said that, they both just sat in silence. During this time, Yoseob decided to get a closer look at the boy in front of him. His hair was a light shade of brown, and his lips were full and pink. His skin was also very fair and soft looking. He also have these tiny little eyes that made him seem more cuter than before.

He was soon awoken from his daydream by the boy in front of him. “Hey, Yoseob, do you believe in love at first sight?”

Shaking from his stupor, Yoseob answered. “I don’t know really. It never happened to me before (until now). Why do you ask?”

“I don’t know. It’s just this guy I met, and he is also a singer. I guess you can say I fell in love with his voice.” After he finishes he had a blush creeping up his cheeks.

(Fell in love. With a singer. I’m one of the best singers. He said so himself. I should make my move now.)

“You know you don’t have to push around the bushes anymore,” the blond said confidently.

“Excuse me?” Kikwang ask.

“How about we meet here again on Friday? 7:00?” he smirked.

Taking a quick look around, he turned back to Yoseob before asking for his phone. “Here’s my number. Text me to remind me alright. I’ll see you later.” Handing back his phone, Kikwang got up from the bench with his book in hand before walking away with cheeks flushed. “Bye, Yoseob.”

“Bye, Kikwang.”

Walking back to his group, he found his friends in the same positions. Well kind of. Doojoon was getting some shut eyes behind his sunglasses and Junhyung is not that far behind. Hyunseung was eating an ice-cream cone while watching Dongwoon do cat’s cradle by himself.

With a bounce in his step, Yoseob greeted everybody with a cheery, “Hi~”

“So how did it go?” the maknae, not breaking his concentration.

“It went well actually. I think that you guys should just give up now in order to save yourselves from any kind of humiliation.”

“Excuse me?” Junhyung turn to look at him. “Why should we? From what we saw was him running away from you. If anything, you scared him off.”

“Nu-uh. He is actually going to meet me here again so there.” Finishing his argument, he stuck his tongue out at him.

“But did he say he like you?” Doojoon asks while rising like a zombie.

“Well, no, but-”

“Then we haven’t lost,” Hyunseung cut me off.

“We’re still in the game, whether you like it or not,” Doojoon smirk.
