The Note ft. Mark, BamBam, and You

You nervously glanced to your left and you could see Mark staring at you and when you heard a scoff to your right, you glanced over at BamBam, who was glaring at you for looking at Mark.  You sighed and trained your attention back to the front of the classroom. 

It was tough enough being the new kid to this school without having two of the hottest guys in your class, in the entire school really, paying close attention to you. 

When you first got here, BamBam was your very first friend.  He had made your transition into this new school a lot easier than it would have been if you had to deal with it on your own.  He was friendly, outgoing and he made no secret of how he felt about you. 

He openly called you cute and he always made sure that you were never alone long enough to feel lonely.  He was the class clown who just so happened to be cute and hot at the same time. 

But the moment you had set your eyes on Mark, your heart skipped a beat.  He was brooding, quiet, a jock, a playa and you knew that you should stay away from him but every time your eyes met his you stopped breathing.

 When he was in a room, you couldn’t help following his movement around with your eyes. 

You didn’t think he knew you existed but that all changed yesterday when you stayed behind after school for an after school activity and you ran into him at the hall.  You were stuttering like an idiot when he spoke to you, even called out your name.

Then he simply told you in that quiet way of his that he liked you before he left you standing there in the hallway in your shock.

Just like that.

So simple, yet it blew your freaking mind.

Now, you were very much aware of him staring at you. 

Before when you caught him staring, you’d wondered if you had food on your face but now, you knew why he was staring.  He liked you.

Just the thought of it made you feel giddy and you hyperventilated a bit in your seat. 

That stopped when you heard BamBam let out a snort.  You sighed as you stole a glance toward his direction.  He looked annoyed and you realized that he knew how you felt about Mark. 

And that made you sad because it’s BamBam that had been here for you since the beginning and you don’t want to hurt him.

And if you were going to think about it clearly, aside from this attraction you had toward Mark, it’s BamBam that you’ve gotten to know and you knew for certain that he’ll try his best to make you happy. 

Yet, you can’t ignore the way you feel about Mark...

You decide that you were going to be upfront about it, that in order to make things less messy, you’ll choose one cleanly and let the other one go.  You were determined to make a choice by the end of the day. 

After school, you’re going to meet one of them and let them down as gently as you can.  

By the time class ended you were a bundle of nerves as you stood behind the school building where you told _______________ to meet you.

You blew out a breath as you nervously played with the hem of your shirt. 

“JungMi.”

You spun around in surprise when you heard BamBam’s voice. 

“BamBam, wha-what are y-you doing here?”  You stuttered as you looked around to check if Mark was coming.  The last thing you wanted to do was make a scene that would draw attention toward you.  “Y-you can’t be here right now.”  You quickly said as you walked up to him and began pushing him toward the direction he came from.

He didn’t move, he just stood there and looked at you with a sad look on his face. 

“Come on!”  You said as you pushed him again.
