Chapter 8

Jaejoong watched as her tears slid down her cheeks, one after the other, “I’m so sorry, honey. I know I was wrong. Please forgive me? I love you.” He said sincerely.

“You think those couple of words can wash away all the heartache you put me through? Well, think again.” Her voice trembled & she opened the door to leave.

Jaejoong sat down on the bed helplessly. How is he going to make her forgive him? How is he going to get back into her heart? He rubbed his hands across his face & lay down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

“How dare he come into my life again, & act as though I will forgive him that easily?” Yuri crossed her arms across her chest, pacing up & down Mrs. Kim’s bedroom.

“Perhaps he meant what he said, dear. Giving him another chance isn’t such a bad idea. You have nothing to lose. You love him, don’t you & my grandchild does need a father.” Mrs. Kim said.

Yuri stopped in her isotoner microterry secret sole clog blue slippers, “Nothing to lose?” Yuri shook her head & placed her hand on the left side of her chest, “I have my heart to lose.”

Two solid knocks came at the door, making Mrs. Kim & Yuri looked at each other. Their eyes show that they both knew who was on the otherside. The door open & Jaejoong in walked. Yuri pulled an unmerciful look at him & left the room, brushing against his shoulders as she did.

“Mother, I don’t know what I’m going to do to make her understand me but I can’t blame her. What I have put her through was hell.”

Mrs. Kim put her palm on her son’s back, “You know what you can do, Jaejoong. You have to show her how much she means to you. Show her you love her with all your heart, make her forgive you & don’t give up unless she has.” Mrs. Kim advised, pitying her son.

Jaejoong looked up at his mother, tears sparkling in his wonderful eyes. Without saying a word, Mrs. Kim knows that Jaejoong was in love with Yuri, just through observing the way his face drooped in sadness, it was clear he knew his mistakes.

“Be determined, sweetie.” Mrs. Kim encouraged, smiling at him.

“I’m determined, mother.” Jaejoong said defensively.

“But you don’t look like it.” Mrs. Kim smiled.

Jaejoong took in a deep breath & sat up straight, “Okay.” He smiled strongly, forcing on a determined looking expression on his face, “Do I look determined now?” He asked his mother.

“Yes, very much so.” Mrs. Kim laughed & pulled her son in for a hug.

Yuri woke up the next day with a wonderful aromatic smell surrounding her. She opened her eyes & discovered she was lying on a bed of fresh rose petals, ‘Is this Oppa’s way of saying sorry?’ Yuri thought, & immediately shook the thought out of her head, ‘As if.’ She smirked & got out
