“It’s good to be home”

Sunggyu stretched out his arms once he stepped in Korea, to be particular in Busan. He decided to visit his mom first before starting living in Seoul again. He truly missed the scent of Korea so he decided to go back again.

“Sunggyu!” a lady shouted

Sunggyu flashes a smile upon hearing her voice. It’s his mom’s voice

“How’s Mrs Son? Or shall I say Ms Park?” Sunggyu teases as he wraps his one arm to her mom’s shoulder

“Stop that! I’m still Mrs. I’m still your mom”

“Naeun’s mom, I stand corrected”

“Sunggyu”

“I’m just joking!” Sunggyu laughed

Sunggyu drives the car while his mom is seated on the passenger’s seat. It’s been years since he came back and as usual many things changed. It’s started when Naeun’s parents divorced

“So how’s the life being divorced?” Sunggyu asked

“Ironic but it gives me freedom. By the way, your grandmother is excited to see you”

“Same” he said and glanced to her mom

“Did Naeun already pay a visit?” he asked again

“Naeun? She’s here?”

“She arrived few days ago. She didn’t visit? Or call?”

“No. Maybe she’s busy” his mom chokes

“Maybe. I’ll try to call her later” Sunggyu said then placed his free hand on his mom’s

“Why are you looking at me? You have something to say?”

Naeun, this is not the right time, she thinks. “Nothing” Naeun said while waving her both hands to Myungsoo

“Its dismissal time” Myungsoo said and points towards the school gate but Naeun didn’t bother to answer anymore

“Mom!” Myungmie waved her hand as she ran to them

“Mom! Look I received a lot of stars” the child boasted while showing her arms to her mom filled with star stamps. Naeun can’t contain her happiness so she showed a smile and patted her daughter’s head, “Good job”

“Oh, its ahjushi” Myungmie said after noticing Myungsoo

“Ahjushi?”

“Yes, ahjushi”

Myungsoo kneeled to level Myungmie’s height and placed his hand to her head

“You’re hungry?” he asked and the child answered with a nod

“Come let’s eat” Myungsoo said as he carries Myungmie. Naeun was flustered on his actions so she was about to stop him but they already started to walk away

“Y-ya! Kim Myungsoo”

Naeun ran to them

“Are trying to kidnap my child?!”

‘Wow, Myungmie. You’re mom is getting mad at me” Myungsoo teased

“Mom, don’t be mad at oppa”

“Oppa?!”

Myungsoo and Myungmie showed their annoying smile to Naeun so she left dumbfounded

“We are going to spend our time with each other. You want to come?” Myungsoo asked but Naeun just looked at him

“I’ll take that a yes. Let’s go!”

Myungsoo started to walk again leaving her standing there alone. Naeun scoffed and can’t suppress her happiness so she smiled. She’s happy of what she’s seeing right now.

“Ms Park, there’s a phone call for you”

“Who is it?”

“It’s Nam Corporation”

“Tell them I’m busy”

“But they’ve been calling since the morning”

“Then try to make another excuse” Chorong said with a little bit anger on her voice so the employee gasped a little. It was the first time she saw Chorong like that

“Yes, Ms Park” she bowed down before exciting the working room

Chorong took a deep sigh. After she rejected Woohyun’s company offer she’s been receiving a lot of calls from them trying to let her think about it again. She admits she really likes the offer but working under the same roof with Woohyun, she don’t like it

Ring ring

“Hello, who’s this?”

“Hello. Is this Ms Park Chorong?”

“Yes I am. Is there something I can help you?”

“Our customer said to call you. He’s drunk and he said you’re the one who can fetch him right now. If you wouldn’t mind I’ll text you the address”

“Uhm, wait-“

Beep

“Is that a prank call?” Chorong said to herself after a minute she received a text from the same phone number. It’s an address of a famous high class bar in Seoul

“Tss. Who’s this” she said again to herself then started to grab her things and went out

Myungsoo, Naeun and Myungmie spent their whole day together eating and shopping at the mall. Naeun can’t help but to be smile after all of what they did. It’s been a long time since she became happy like that

“Why are you smiling?” Myungsoo asked while carrying the sleeping Myungmie on his arms

“Nothing. Its just that its been a long time since we spent our time like this” she said

“Why? You never did this with your husband?”

“We did but its already long time ago. We’re here” Naeun said once they reached the house gate. She tried to get Myungmie from Myungsoo but she stomped a little because of the heaviness and Myungsoo can’t help but suppress a laugh

“Tss” Naeun pouted

“I miss you pouting like that” Myungsoo said with sincere voice

“…”

Myungsoo scoffed from his words and tried to change the ambience between them, “If its okay with you, I’ll just carry her to her room besides you have a lot of bags on your hands I don’t think you can do it” he said

Naeun opened the gate for him and once they stepped inside the house. Myungsoo noticed the house was a little too big for just the two of them

“Do you live here with someone?” he asked

“Eung, I’m living with Chorong unnie”

“Oh”

“That’s her room” Naeun pointed so Myungsoo immediately walks to Myungmie’s room and placed her on the bed after that he patted Myungmie’s head then kissed her on the forehead. Naeun cleared when she saw that moment so Myungsoo looked back to her

“I better go” he said as he walks out the room

“Naeun ah”

“Hmm?”

“Thank you” Myungsoo smilingly said

“No, thank you” she smiled back

“I really enjoyed this day”

“Same”

Myungsoo exited the house then grabbed his phone. He saw an unread message and after reading it he dialed the number

“Hyung! You’re back”

“Yes, I am”

“You didn’t tell us again.”

“I want to surprise all of you but I can’t lie anymore” he scoffed

“Let’s meet up together with Woohyun and Sungyeol, shall we?”

“Next time. I’m still here at Busan, fixing some things”

“Okay, be back right away here in Seoul”

“Sure. You looked so happy right now. Did anything happen?”

“Nothing. Today is just happy day” Myungsoo said then looked at the dark sky

“Okay. I think you’re hiding something”

“Hyung”

“Hmm?”

“I spent my whole day with my daughter”
