Hey guys, I am sure that Horror is a rare genre in AFF and that people rarely get the chance to create a poster for that one but then when we do all we can think of is 'grunge texture' or something else. This tutorial particularly tackles that. For this you need nothing but a paper texture and two image. You need to have basic knowledge of filter and blendings, oh and colouring too♥

This has more of an 80s feel (I think...) to make it stand out.

Step 1: Open up your canvas with the size you want. My size, in case you want to know is 500 X 600; as a beginner that size is suggested before you start using bigger one. Fill it with a black colour. 

Step 2: Take this image and blend it in. Adjust the curves and duplicate it before going to filter -> smart sharpen and adjusting it according to how you want it. Blend it throughly (mine looks like this, don't laugh!):-

Step 3: Blend this image and like before blend it throughly. Duplicate it so that it fills around the first image before adjusting its hue saturation and curves. Now filter-> motion blur and use your settings so that it appears slightly ghoslty/faded or something. 

Step 4: According to step four, you need to add a b&w gradient map and set it to multiply. It should now look something like this:-
