An Actor's Smile
Description
Kim Yeon was an actor with a smile.
Lee Taemin was an actor with no emotion.
Kim Jongin was an actor with a hard exterior.
Three teenagers were forced to put up fronts as a way to defend themselves, to survive in their own environment. Abuse, both mental and physical, drawing out their masks and armor. Fighting their war day in and out. Over the years these masks have clawed their way into truth, tricking everyone, even their owners. So what happens when these three come together, with eyes trained for the falseness but with ones that can’t recognize their own? Their paths will be intertwined and defences will be brought down.
Will they only be agonized by the ripping of their coverage or will their defenses be stripped only to bloom with something else?
Will they hold on to their false hopefulness in the last effort to protect?
Because only once concrete has been broken and stripped can real flowers grow.
