Seohyun sat idly on a bench at a bus station waiting for her bus to come. She was planning to have a vacation there, more like her friends planned her to, to unwind and think things over. She had just broken up with her boyfriend for three years, Luhan and she wasn't taking everything nicely. She was depressed for three days, hadn't eaten anything for who knows how long and now her eyes were swollen, she looked like she was beaten up by a dozen of guys, minus the black eye of course.

She didn't know what had gone wrong with their relationship. She always thought that they were okay and they were getting there, hell, she even thought they'd get married. Then one day, Luhan just told her he fell out of love and was tired of everything. Was it that easy for him to just throw away everything?

And the fact that they were work colleagues didn't help. Seohyun was close to tears again as the thought of Luhan crossed her mind again. Sadness, bitterness and annoyance, everything was twisted in a knot in her stomach, she felt like collapsing that very moment.

'Uhm excuse me? Can I ask something?' Out of nowhere, someone tapped her shoulder to get her attention. Was she zoning out that much that she didn't even notice that a guy sat beside her and was currently bugging her.

Juhyun looked sternly at him to inform him that his sudden intrusion didn't please her at all. But he just smiled sheepishly, still waiting for her answer, as if he didn't see her reaction.

Juhyun rolled her eyes and fished out her phone out, she typed something then showed it to him.

'Yes you can…. but no you may not.' He read aloud, chuckling after every phrase.

'But, why?' He inquired looking so interested.

She typed again 'I don't talk to strangers.'

'But aren't we talking right now?' He sniggered

'I mean verbally.' Juhyun typed the quickest she could then mentally slapped herself when she realized how stupid her statement was.

The lad laughed heartily at her comedic antic. She looked depressed and irritated at the same time but he couldn't help but be amused by how she was taking the situation.

'Then I'll introduce myself. I'm Byun Baekhyun. Now I'm not a stranger to you. So can you talk to me properly?'

'I'm not talking to erts!!!' The light of Seohyun's phone came into view as she shoved her phone in Baekhyun's face.

'Wow how judgemental.' Baekhyun commented shaking his head.

Seohyun sighed, he was seriously getting into her nerves and she talked finally.

'You know what? I just don't feel like talking to strangers especially guys.'

Baekhyun looked at her with his curious puppy eyes as if wanting her to spill it  all out. But Juhyun knew better than telling her life tales to a stranger who had nothing better to do than bother her.

Seoyun looked at the clock and lied that her bus had arrived but the truth was her bus wouldn't come in fifteen minutes.

'I'm sorry but I have to go. My bus is here.' Seohyun gathered her things and ran away not looking back or even letting him talk.

'What's with that guy?'  Seohyun was panting heavily upon reaching the comfort room. 'Is he some kind of a ert?' Seohyun steadied herself.

As she entered the ladies' comfort room, she finally got a good look of herself on the mirror. Her face was pale, it seemed like she lost all the blood in her face. Dark circles were prominent , she looked like an anemic panda, because of her very plae skin. Seohyun was shocked upon seeing herself. What had she done to herself?

'You're crazy Seohyun. Really crazy. You've let a guy do this to you. And you said you hate stupid girls? Aren't you one right now?' Seohyun mocked herself. She told herself that she wouldn't be stupid because of love. That she wouldn't be like those girls who cry over some jerk. But it's just a twist of fate that she had become the very thing she promised she wouldn't. Now she hated herself more than anyone else, more than Luhan.

Seohyun sighed and bit her lip just to give it some colour. She lazily fished her powder and concealer out and applied some on her face to hide her dark circles and lines. She pinched her cheeks to draw blood to the area.

'There! The real Seohyun is back!' Seohyun finally declared. But who was she joking? A little make up would cover her outer disparities up but her inner struggling was of different level.

Seohyun chuckled a little, she couldn't believe herself. A tear escaped from her left eye then another then soon she was crying her heart out. She knew she looked so stupid sobbing in a public place like this but the hurt she was feeling was too much she couldn't hold it back anymore.

-------------------------------------------------------

Seohyun gazed blankly at the people outside the bus. She found no reason in continuing the trip because she knew it wouldn't change a thing even if she'd go far away from him. And now she was questioning herself on why she even boarded that bus. Sighing, Seohyun collected her things and was about to stand up when she saw the same guy she saw earlier making his way to her.

'Hey' Baekhyun greeted casually but Seohyun turned away and ignored him completely.

'What a coincidence! We have the same bus ! And I thought you were already gone. ' Baekhyun sat comfortably beside Seohyun which surprised her.

'Why are you sitting there?' She glared at him but he didn't seem to care.

'I should be the one asking that. Why are you sitting there? I thought your bus left a few minutes ago?' In contrary with his dead serious voice, his eyes were playful just like earlier when she saw her.

Seohyun couldn't help but scowl at him but she realized that she was putting too much of her anger at him who in fact didn't have anything to do about what had happened to her. She softened a bit.

'I lied, okay?' Seohyun said biting her lower lip.

He chuckled and his eyes lit up 'I see, you're not a very good liar.' then he became silent as if he remembered something 'Even earlier, your lies were so unbelievable.'

Seohyun just snorted at him, not really wanting to prolong the conversation anymore.

'So you're going to the same place as me. What a coincidence!'

'I was actually going to alight but you're blocking the way. Get out of the way.' Seohyun's tone was serious and a bit authorative but Baekhyun wasn't shaken even a bit.

'No' That was it and Baekhyun busied himself with his phone not moving a bit even if Seohyun was kicking his legs with so much force.

The bus moved forward and Seohyun was left with one choice, and that was to stay. Seohyun was frowning the whole trip, her blood boiling from the unfinished conversation she had with the infuriating lad beside her. She closed her eyes and opened it again and just busied herself with her phone too before she could do anything bad.

Baekhyun on the other hand was smiling stealthily. He didn't know why but he was actually enjoying her company even though it was forced. He liked how her brows furrow whenever she was talking to him, how she glared at him whenever she was looking at him or how she just bit her lip unintentionally. Her habits were all attractive to him. But there was something wrong with her and he knew perfectly it was something he was going through too.

Hours passed by and Baekhyun couldn't count just how many times he stole glances at her. He was well aware of the things she did in the past hour. From the moment she tried busying herself to her phone to the time she started reading a thick book he couldn't recognize, he knew all of it.

Baekhyun once again tried glancing at her but was a bit taken aback when he saw her sleeping. The book that Seohyun was reading found its way to her chest and her always frowning  brows were now relaxed, making her look even more lovely. Closed were those glaring eyes, he could perfectly see her thick long lashes. Baekhyun quickly took his camera from his bag and took photos of her. He knew the girl would be so angry if she saw him doing this but he didn't care. The only thing in his mind was to capture this moment of her being so serene. This was the calmest he had ever seen of her ever since he saw her at the terminal earlier.

Seohyun was woken up by the noise coming from the people going out of the bus. She didn't know how long she had been sleeping but she's sure it was long enough for her not to notice she was at her stop already. She scanned the area but the exasperating Baekhyun was out of sight. Seohyun heaved a sigh of relief thinking she would be free of the nasty being. But a sudden tug in her heart told her that it was easier dealing with Baekhyun than with the lingering memories of Luhan.

'Maybe I really need this vacation after all.'
