Tiffany looked up and saw some of students were there solving some quiz the recieved before, exactly what she did last year on her orientation time

she then let out her hand out of her pocket before reached her arm to right to get something, but there's nothing, she turned right and saw no one,

 

 

 

 

her heartbeat suddenly become faster while her mind still anticipating for the petite girl still beside her. Her eyes wandering around, she turned

 

 

 

 

around and around and still can't found her anywhere,

 

 

 

there's no sign of light to other than her left where all people gathered.

 

 

 

Her bestfriend wasn't here. Jessica wasn't here--

 

 

 

"Wooyoung!" Tiffany shrieked causing some people who were there glanced at her direction,

 

 

 

"What's--" Wooyoung walked slowly to the girl who still stood there, since the place is dark so the path was blocked with the darkness,

 

 

 

"Jessica's not here" Tiffany cutted even before he finished, her voice became smaller when she said the last sentence.

"Jessica what?!" They exclaimed in unison, became panicked instantly because of the sudden news, Jessica missing in the forest is big no-no. The petite girl

 

 

 

 

couldn't even stand scary movies, she would cry in her sleep watching that, she wouldn't survived in this kind of forest alone, they all knew about it.

 

 

 

 

"I swear she was right beside me just now!!" Tiffany was almost choke in tears, she didn't want blame for leaving her bestfriend behind, she really didn't have 

 

 

 

 

idea she wasn't behind her all the time since it was very cold so she got to put her hands on the pockets.

 

 

 

 

"Okay, everyone please remain calm and continue for the next checkpoint!" Onew turned at to some student that still finishing the puzzle, and

 

 

 

 

gestured them to leave the place so it will be faster done then they can search for Jessica.

 

 

 

 

On the other hand, Yul heard every single of it, and the mention of name of Jessica causing Yul shifted his attention to them, and there he saw his seniors, 

 

 

 

there's Tiffany and some of the other, looking panic, her expression show it all.

 

 

 

 

Yul went near them, and they seems serious talking about someone, and he sure he heard it right when Tiffany yelled out something with Jessica's name on it.

 

 

 

"What's happening?" Yul didn't care about formality as he already witnessed everybody panicking, 

 

 

 

 

"Jessica's missing-- Wait! Where are you're going?!" Tiffany who's in tears tried to explain but then she saw him already out of her vision before she finisihed, 

 

 

 

Yul was already dashing to the flashlights container to get one, since all their flashlights were being collected earlier,

 

 

 

 

He took some random one, since he can't see anything, he doesn't bother to take it anyway, he the flaslight before fled to black pitched forest,

 

 

 

where could she be, he thought. It doesn't matter he's helping to search her, since the other will be searching to, he wondered how a girl could survive alone

 

 

 

inside a forest in total dark night like this without panicking, earlier he even afraid somehow but still could manage his fear.

 

 

 

He don't care since no one even bothered to move their first, searching for this certain lady, he'll go then. Moreover, he prefered searching her alone, 

 

 

 

 

if he went with one of the senior, he afraid they'll starting to talk about him behind their back for being all care to this certain girl that belongs to Taeng.

 

 

 

 

He snapped out his thought when he saw the another yellow line, he pointed it with his flashlight, trace it as if he can find the answer, 

 

 

 

 

he then heard some stepped behind him, he turned and saw two person sticking to each other in dark,

 

 

 

 

 

They thought it was one of the senior, so they just bowed down and start walking again through him, so it's must be one of his friend but they didn't have

 

 

 

their flashlight with them so they might not knew it was him. Suddenly, it made him think that if some of his friends still walking here, she could heard their

 

 

 

steps at least, so she could be farther than this yellow line.

 

 

 

 

he then walked across the yellow line that being a border of the path.

She sniffed as she can felt the air become colder and instantly made her shiver, her mind was already filled with anxienty, her heart raced, and her breathing was heavy.

 

 

And now the double layers of clothes were not enough again to warm her body again,

 

 

 

 

she squatted down on one of the tree and hugged her body, she didn't know where she is, she can't seems find any yellow line again around even,

 

 

 

 

she looked up to the only source of light of the night, the sky above was full of tumulous, dark, ragged clouds, she was observing the cloud,

 

 

 

 

she can even felt it still very dark from the corner of her eyes, she can't almost see nothing expect her legs that being exposed by the light by her

 

 

 

 

small flashlight the only source of light, she didn't care anymore too find a way, she just want to cry her heart out, she can't handle it when it comes being alone.

 

 

 

In her mind right now, she could feel the abominations that lurked about. She was unable to move, because his body was petrified with fear. 

 

 

 

Into the darkness she stared hoping to get a slither of light,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Suddenly an aprubtly load roar above, the rumbling of thunder intterupted her thoughts, causing her to jolted up in surprised, she closed her eyes tightly as

 

 

 

 

all her biggest fears now came together in once, she covered her ears tightly in fear.

Yul marched towards nowhere before an aprubtly loud roar thunder causing him to jolted up in surprised,

 

 

 

He looked up at the dark sky as the another thunder roar can be heard, 

 

 

 

"Damn it" He cursed under his breath as he tried to catch a breath, he's been walking for almost a half hour but found nothing until now, all he

 

 

 

 

passed by was on tree and tree and even bigger tree.

 

 

 

He bet everybody already going back to their tents, he don't know where he's too right now, he already left behind the yellow lines since half hour ago, 

 

 

 

he can't see any trace around, if he didn't find her, he supposed she's already found somewhere else by the other. He felt like should just go back

 

 

 

 

and figured the way out from the forest then.

Jessica looked up and it becomes dark than it already was, her eyes focused inward, searching for light, then she can see a light from far that 

 

 

 

 

moving, her heart skipped a bit, she bolted up in panic, all her negative thinking since earlier that she tried to brush away were came back again, she felt uneasy,

 

 

 

 

She could feel cool wind blowing from the blackened sky, the wind whispered through the leaves causing her too aware of the voices around.

 

 

 

She can felt her hand become shaking as she stood up and just let her legs dragged her anywhere away, but  she didn't saw she going to stepped on a larger 

 

 

 

rocks, causing she stumbled forward, she became aware as she felt her body fell forward before hitted the ground in impact,

 

 

 

"Ah!" She shrieked as she felt the impact on her legs, she dragged herself to the nearest tree to check it, she even forgot that she was running away from 

 

 

 

something because of the pain.

Yul swear he can heard something not far from him just now, he tried to faster his paced, before suddenly a drop of cold water hit his face, he looked up and 

 

 

 

saw the flashes of lightning litted up the darkened sky, the wind blew againts his body become colder too, he can felt it againts his skin even he wear thick

 

 

layer of clothes already, this is not good, it's gonna be cold like an ice. he shivered imagining how it gonna felt cold rain together with this

 

 

chilling cold wind againts his skin.

 

 

 

He's felt stupid for searching by himself, all way here, he didn't know any of this place, and there's huge possibility they found her already, 

 

 

 

he rubbed his hand together as he felt colder than he was already before, If she's still outthere she must be felt colder,

Jessica was nearly crying, when she felt the first drop of cold water hit her face, and the thunder her heartbeat raised everytime she heard thunder and 

 

 

 

whenever the flashes of lightning litted up the darkened sky, 

 

 

 

she hugged her body even more tight, while the flash light was the only thing can handle her life right now, and she can do was hold on to the flashlight.

Wait, is that a light?! he quickened his pace to reach the light without hesitate, it could probably her.

 

 

Yul was drenching in rain, so he already took off his jacket since earlier, the petite girl was looking down all the time, so he slowly approach her,

 

 

 

afraid to make her shock, he sure it was her even she's looking down, her brunette attrative her explained it all, her lonely gesture made him really want to comfort her,

 

 

"Jessica S-Sun--" Yul called as he approach her and the tree slowly,

 

 

"T-Taeng? Is that you?" Jessica looked up in surprise, he saw there's already tears on her face, but quickly erased it when she saw not the

 

 

person that she was expecting, why would Taeng be here, he's not even coming to the camping.

 

 

 

"N-No" Yul answered in a husky deep voice, at the same time he was disapointed when heard another name that came out from her lips,

 

"It's K-Kwon Yul"

 

Why his name right now. 

 

 

Yul then hesitated to put his jacket on her, but she didn't budge so he put it around her, make sure she didn't catch a cold, he looked up and 

 

 

saw why she wasn't drenched in rain, thankfully she was under the tree all the time, so she's not drenching in rain like him.

 

 

If only he was Taeng, she just want to hug him right now wont let go, and tell him how scared she was being here all alone with no one around,

 

 

she's been crying for the last hour for being alone, she thought.

 

 

She looked up and at the first time she found out it was Kwon Yul, 

 

 

 

she felt more colder because some part of her clothes already wet,

 

 

 

"I-We were searching for you everywhere, sunbae" Yul tried to say another words, since the girl didn't move any muscle since he came.

 

 

He dropped on his knees, but tried not to be so close to her, to be honest he already nervous the fact that the two of them were the only person here, 

 

 

 

My first sight of her made my heart flutter. 

 

 

 

Jessica looked up and met his eyes, it's their first time really talking, having a conversation and this close, 

 

 

 

she can only saw a glimpse of his face feature, since it's really dark, only her eyes that reflect the night, but she noticed some other thing, his hair

 

 

drenched in water,

 

 

"W-We should go back" He clipped his answers short, as he tried to avoid looking at her.

 

 

She looked down to her bleeding foot that covered some by her jeans, he pointed it with her flashlight, Yul followed her gaze and stopped as he saw a red

 

 

 

stain on her left leg, he reached for her leg in reflect, 

 

 

 

"You're bleeding--" she felt a warm radiated to her skin, that made her felt better somehow,

 

 

 

then she touched his arm that holding her, while Yul was observing the wound, then looked up as soon as he saw her hand touching her arm,

 

 

 

"Y-You're warm" She didn't realize she said that before she felt like wanted smacked her own lips because of that, but she felt so cold that his warm

 

 

 

skin kind of make her fell better and even forgot her fears since earlier,

 

 

 

"Y-Yes" Yul become more nervous when she said that, made him felt more awkward than it was already between them. He tried not to look at her

 

 

 

but his eyes kept slipping back to her face.

 

 

 

"My knee was bleeding too... I think" Jessica finally said a words after she found out it was him, he could felt a tingling sensation on his stomach

 

 

 

when he heard her girly high-pitched voice, she never failed to make him flutter everytime of her girly charm.

 

 

 

 

Yul let her hands that was touching his arm, since he thought he was cold so he let her be, even if he felt himself slowly melted because of her skin

 

 

 

 

againts him. He stared at it and he tried to swallow.

 

 

 

"Can you walk, sunbaenim?" Yul tried to break the awkward moment even more, all his attention was focused on this petite girl all the time, despite

 

 

 

the thunder and rain was really loud.

 

 

 

Jessica glanced up and saw him looking back at her, Yul gulped when she did that, Jessica saw that he always tried to avoid her eyes, she wondered why.

 

 

 

Why this guy always acting all nervous in front of me?

 

 

 

"I-I think" Yul stood up to broke the contact, he felt like he couldn't handle her stare for any longer. His eyes turned down avoiding her gaze.

 

 

 

Jessica stood up too but then quickly reached his hand, the only handle that around, when she finally stand up but she hissed when she can feel her

 

 

 

wounded leg aching and the hurting knee brushing againts the fitted jeans -- 

 

 

 

he can felt butterfly on his stomach when he felt their skins brushed againts each other, her skin were really cold and he's already cold but it

 

 

 

somehow made him felt hotter inside instead,

 

 

 

"S-Sorry, I think i cant walk..." her voice trailed off, 

 

 

 

Yul was stopped for a moment before realized what she said, that's mean...

 

 

 

Yul hesitately reached for her arm and was about to put it around his shoulder before--

 

 

 

"C-Could you carry me instead"

 

 

 

Yul was sttunned , carry her behind...my back?

 

 

 

"--If you're okay with it" Jessica was trying not being to bossy, but that's her real antic, but somehow this boy made her didn't want to be all bossy

 

 

 

like she used too, 

 

 

 

"O-Of course" 

 

 

 

Yul gulped before he squatted down on his legs, waiting for her body touch againts his back in anticipation,

 

 

 

Jessica reached her arms to his neck first before her legs beside him, sitting on his back.

 

 

 

Jessica arms was rested on his shoulders, awkwardly there. 

 

 

 

Yul sneaked his arms below her knee and stood up then jumped a little to fixed their positition, causing her to threw forward, 

 

 

 

she hugged her neck in response, his heart start pounding when he felt her body againts him

 

 

 

A feeling like stage fright churned his stomach because of her, he even sweating.
