As an entity which resembles a light flickers,
Anticipation riles up against my heartbeat-
Promising me of a deadly tomorrow.
Predator will hunt,
And prey will be taunted.
The undeniable food chain exists in such place-
And I am only a speck of dust.
The trace of mockery dries my veins.
I am angry.
But then again, I have no rights to.
Crisp smell of time kills my nostrils as I stuck sticks into my eyes,
They were of no use anyway.
With pale fade of tomorrow, I exhale.
I wish to go,
But I have no rights.
In this form, adolescence riles up inside my throat-
Piercing my vocal box and ripping my spine.
I crave for satisfaction, but none to own.
Genie offers me a wish,
But decided against it.<
