And in this era, everything you’ve once known--ever seen--is gone.
The world is dead. The busy metropolitan streets that used to be buzzing with people are gone, replaced by ruins. The colourful amusement parks that used to glow with the smiles that people adorned are but broken contraptions that serve as a playground for them.
People live.
I live.
I live, but only to see the death of us.
To see how long we will last in their constant presence.
They were called myths, legends, lies told to children so they would obey.
But what the people didn’t know was that even lies can become truths.

Foreword

Her: Jung Aera (17)
The heiress to what was left of Jung Financial Group, one of the only big companies left in Seoul in the devastated world. She was the typical locked up princess until her parents' mysterious death seven years ago, and she was left with a responsibility and a life she never wanted.
and so she ran away.
Him: Byun Baekhyun (age undefined)
The boy who simply wanted to live his mundane life to the fullest, not caring about the myths and wandering from place to place. He was just the normal country-boy until he stumbled upon a pension seven years ago, and he was met with a horrifying scene that reeked of death.
and so he was cursed.

Hello~ my 2nd fic here~ I just couldn't resist the temptation for writing this one because I just have so much planned for it, and I need to write before I forget!! I think most people can derive from my name that I'm a Baekhyun fangirl so it can't be helped that he's the main character again, though I can't guarantee who she ends up with yet~~ but this is probably a 180 degree flip to my other fic because while Curvy is fluff, this one will be mystery and angst~ and Baekhyun's character is probably the opposite too. . .
Anyway, I just missed the MAMA era so I decided to use those photos, and well, who doesn't love the MAMA era?
