“Hi I’m Sungmin! You must be Ryeowook, Kyuhyun’s fiancé right?” before Kyuhyun could answer Ryeowook’s question, Sungmin already introduced himself

“I…. am… so, Sungmin are you? ….” Ryeowook looked at Sungmin then turned to Kyuhyun

“Ah… I’m just Kyuhyun friend, we were in same high school and our house was just next to each other so…” Sungmin looked at Ryeowook and smiled “relax, we are just friend, nothing more than that” Ryeowook suddenly blushed by Sungmin’s statement

“No! I don’t mean something like that, I was just being surprised when I saw Kyuhyun laughing with you, I’ve became his fiancé for 1 year already but it’s such a rare moment to see Kyuhyun laugh freely like that and … with a friend!” Ryeowook gestured his hand to Sungmin with widened eyes, he sat down next to Kyuhyun after asked permission from Sungmin which straight away agreed by the latter “I never knew Kyuhyun has a friend, well judging from the laugh I think you are his best friend right?” Ryeowook continued talking non-stop about Kyuhyun being a loner who never introduces even a friend to Ryeowook since they arrived in Seoul 1 year ago

“Yes, he was a loner, he is lucky to have me as a friend, no one wants to be his friend you know” Sungmin chuckled when Kyuhyun’s face turned dark

“Lee Sungmin…” Kyuhyun grunted

“Yes Cho Kyuhyun? It’s a fact, you can’t change it, only me being a good guy wants to be your friend! Cho Kyuhyun, a guy who has brain, looks, and wealth but no one wants to be your friend cause they cannot stand with your cold attitude and you remember that one time when a girl wants to be your girlfriend but in the end he was crying to me because you told her to get lost” Sungmin’s eyes getting teary as he remembered all the memories he spent with Kyuhyun in high school, it hurts him so much, after 1 year tried to erase all those memories and now he had to open them back

“Yes, I am the luckiest to meet you and it will never change” had been his best friend for years, Kyuhyun realized Sungmin’s tone had changed, it must hurt him so much to open those memories again as he saw Sungmin’s eyes getting teary “stop it min, stop talking about me” Kyuhyun said coldly, he himself didn’t want to be reminded about it

“Why? I want to hear more!” Ryeowook hit Kyuhyun playfully and looked at Sungmin “tell me more!  Want to know more about Kyuhyun’s past!” Ryeowook told Sungmin who looked away from the couple and stared outside the window, although it was painful to tell Ryeowook about his memories with Kyuhyun but he decided Ryeowook deserves those stories, so he almost opened his mouth when suddenly Kyuhyun yelled at Ryeowook

“I said stop!” Kyuhyun looked at Ryeowook with anger in his eyes, it was too painful to see Sungmin tried his best to not crying while talking about his past “let’s go” Kyuhyun couldn’t stand it anymore and grab Ryeowook’s hand

“But kyu!” Ryeowook didn’t want to move from his seat

“Go” Kyuhyun said coldly and drag Ryeowook outside without even said goodbye to Sungmin, Sungmin sighed as he watched the couple went away from his sight, he decided to leave too but was stopped by the waiter there

“Sorry, you haven’t paid the bill” the waiter told Sungmin

“What….” Sungmin looked at the bill and realized Kyuhyun’s food also stated there “that Cho Kyuhyun…..” Sungmin grunted “never change” he giggled and took out his wallet

“And you know what? He even didn’t pay for the meal!” Sungmin laughed and drank his wine, he was having dinner with Eunhyuk at his apartment

“Errr… Min…” Eunhyuk looked a bit awkward

“Yes why?”

“Do you realize you’ve been talking about Kyuhyun since I came here 2 hours ago and even when we have our dinner now?” Eunhyuk stared at Sungmin, it may be kind of jealousy Eunhyuk had that time, how he didn’t? Instead of asking Eunhyuk how his day went as usual or talking about both of them all the topics Sungmin had with him after one month didn’t meet each other was a guy named Cho Kyuhyun

“Ah…” Sungmin coughed feel a bit awkward “sorry” he scratch his un-itchy head and looked down on the red liquid inside the glass

“You know what? May be it sounds childish to you but really I can’t understand why you look so excited after meet your old friend? And instead of talking about us or what happened to you for the past one month you talking about him? Yes, call me childish but I don’t like it, I really don’t” Eunhyuk put down his spoon and stood up from the chair “I’m going now” Eunhyuk walked away from Sungmin who still stunned with what Eunhyuk said, after he heard Eunhyuk left his apartment Sungmin continued chewing on his food

“What the hell is wrong with him? Extremely childish! What’s wrong with talking about Kyuhyun?” Sungmin drank his wine in one shot and screamed “LEE HYUKJAE UGLY!!!!!!!!!”

Sungmin rolled here and there on his bed, he couldn’t sleep, every time he closed his eyes he saw Kyuhyun, and when he opened his eyes he also saw Kyuhyun “the hell Cho Kyuhyun!” Sungmin yelled in frustration, suddenly his phone rang made him startled

“Hello?” Sungmin said without even saw who called him

“Sungmin! You know what? Kyuhyun is back to Korea!!! You miss him right? Next Sunday we’re going to have lunch together with him, I invited him to come to our home! You must be happy right?” Sungmin’s mom told Sungmin with excitement in her voice

“Mom!” Sungmin shouted “he has fiancé already!”

“So what?! Our family close to each other even until now, what’s wrong with asking him for a simple lunch? It’s not like I’m going to ask him to marry you or something” Sungmin mom scolded Sungmin back made him choked

“Well… you’re right”

“I am and always will, so you’re coming home next Sunday?”

“Of course” Sungmin answered excitedly

“Oooo so excited… you miss him that much huh?” Sungmin’s mom

“Aish annoying, see you next Sunday mom! Good night!” Sungmin hang up the call without even wait for his mom respond

“You were really rude today Kyu” Ryeowook crossed his arms in front of Kyuhyun who was playing games on his laptop

“Hmmm” Kyuhyun didn’t even respond

“Kyu!” Ryeowook called Kyuhyun again but the latter didn’t even open his mouth and only focused on his games “Cho Kyuhyun I’m talking to you!” Ryeowook waved his hand to Kyuhyun but still no respond “KYUHYUN!” Ryeowook shouted which still ignored by Kyuhyun, but Ryeowook could see Kyuhyun looked frustrated and even started to smashing his game keyboard like crazy “if you still don’t want to talk to me I’m leaving now!” Ryeowook threatened Kyuhyun

“Go…” Kyuhyun said coldly

“What?”

“GO JUST GO! If you want to leave then just leave! Don’t bother me!” Kyuhyun finally looked at Ryeowook with eyes filled with anger, Ryeowook bit his lower lips trying not to cry and just ran left Kyuhyun whose eyes back to his laptop screen again “damn it Lee Sungmin I really going crazy because of you” Kyuhyun mumbled to himself

“Because of me?” Sungmin pointed to himself while talking to a woman he has known for years

“yes, because of you, who else?” the woman drank his coffee and stared at Sungmin “but lucky now he has found his way and just a few more steps until both of you realized how stupid you guys were” the woman folded her arms in front of his chest judging Sungmin

“Guys? Me? Kyuhyun? Both of us?” Sungmin pointed to empty air cause Kyuhyun wasn’t there

“Since when you become so stupid like this Lee Sungmin? Of course it’s you and Kyuhyun!”

“But Ahra noona…” Sungmin wanted to protest but Ahra, Kyuhyun’s elder sister cut him off

“Ssshhhhh, no talking back, you’ve met him already right? Can’t you see something is missing from him?” Ahra asked Sungmin, she tapped her finger impatiently waiting for Sungmin to say something as the latter looking at the streets outside the café trying to remember what was missing from Kyuhyun on the day he met him again that time

“Ah!” Sungmin suddenly yelled and Ahra smile now

“I know you will notice, so what is it?” Ahra asked with eyes filled with sparkle

“His hair is shorter! No wonder he looked different!” Sungmin told Ahra proudly but a smack on his head was what he got from the answer “what’s that for noona?! It’s been a year since the last time we met and you become so violent like this?!” Sungmin rubbed his head gently trying to soothe the pain

“I really… I give up with you! Both of you are really meant to be together! Stupid couple!” Ahra grabbed his clutch and looked at her watch “it’s time for me to go, I still need to work you know, so thank you for today! Let’s meet again soon, I really miss you” Ahra smiled genuinely and Sungmin stood up to hug her

“I miss you too Ahra noona, it’s been a while and I’m glad you are back, you won’t leave me again right?” Sungmin let go his hug and looked at Ahra with his puppy eyes

“No I won’t just promise me you won’t hurt Kyuhyun anymore so I still can stay here” Ahra patted Sungmin’s head

“What does it means noona?” Sungmin eyed Ahra, he couldn’t remember when he hurt Kyuhyun and what Ahra meant by she wouldn’t leave if Sungmin didn’t hurt Kyuhyun

“Nah… I need to go now and if Kyuhyun know I tell you about it he will surely kill me so…” Ahra pretend to zip and laughed at Sungmin ‘I am being serious noona’ face “I go now okay?” Sungmin gave up and nodded although he was really curious what happened to Kyuhyun for the past 1 year “ah…” Ahra turned her body again to Sungmin before she left “just want you to know one little secret… he cried… he cried a lot in New York, it hurts me a lot as a sister to see him look so weak like that, so…” Ahra wiped a little bit of tears in the corner of her eyes as she remembered those hard times she had to face “I really hope you both will stop hurting each other like that” before Sungmin could ask anything Ahra already waved her hand weakly and left Sungmin who stunned there biting his lips curiously

“He cried? But why?”
