142 years ago a war started against a mysterious force called the darkness. Nobody knows what it is not even now.  We only defeated it because of 14 brave guardians who stepped into the battle field not knowing what was out there.  None of them survived nor the darkness.  Or that was thought until the prophecy was read in the book of mystery. It told of 14 new guardians each with more power than others and a 15th was to join them.
