He got out from his seat and walked hastily around the car to the booth. I stayed inside, worried and fearful. What was going to happen to me now?

He opened the booth, shuffled through some things I couldn't see before closing it with a loud bang.

"Not coming out?" He asked from outside, looking at me through the closed window with a bag hanging from his shoulders. I glanced to the side to see him, but quickly looked away again. He came closer to the window and tapped on it. "Not coming out?"

I still didn't answer.

He opened the door and looked at me with those emotionless eyes. "Come out, Tao."

I looked up at him wide eyed. He knew my name. My eyes looked into his, searching desperately for a clue about who he was. But all I could see was what I saw earlier. Nothing. He lowered his head and sighed.

"I'm not going to hurt you, okay. Come on."

I glanced down and swallowed nervously, giving him a slight nod. He slowly turned away, giving me time to make myself comfortable before coming out. When I watched him walk away from the car towards the house, I moved myself towards the open door. I stepped out, looking around warily.
