     Arriving home from the bar after drinking about 6 shots of Vodka, I plopped down on my velvet red couch, groaning loudly in the process. Never have I drank so much alcohol in my whole life. It's just a week after my nineteenth birthday, the legal age to drink here in South Korea. My body felt numb and tired. I felt wasted. I live alone in my private apartment in Gangnam, away from my parents, who never even once looked at me. Why did I drink alcohol? Oh well, just when I thought life couldn't get anymore worse than it already is, Jo Kwangmin, my boyfriend dumped me after I found him cheating with some cheap flirt he found on the streets of Myeongdong two weeks ago. While I, being the naïve girl I am, went to cry for days, locking myself in my bedroom. After a few days of living that way, I did realize it was useless and that I've wasted so much time for him who doesn't even love me, and so, I ended up drinking my feelings away in the bar.

     After changing from my clubbing outfit into a more comfortable one, I crawled onto my bed, immediately falling into deep slumber once my head hit the pillow. I was so sleepy and drowsy that I didn't notice the presence of another being in my room later that night.
