Double Date

Description

Who knew that going back to visit your parents with your boyfriend of four years would end up in going on a double date with and old friend.

Foreword

So I've been having a crap ton of Leo feels lately and after my friend spewed her day dreams about becoming a couple with a certain someone I couldn't help but write this oneshot. I feel kinda bad that she was so excited for things to be going somewhere with him but have those feelings crushed the very next day and yet I still made a fanfic about it OTL

I'm terrible at writing fluff but I gave it a shot so hope you like it~

Chapter 1: Disclaimer: I don't read fanfics (fathom reading them honestly) but since you requested, I lightly read through most of yours and skimmed through some parts so this isn't the most accurate feedback that I can give you but it could be something worth looking at. And I don't mean to sound mean (in case I do sound mean). Pretend that you're reading this in like a non objective, monotone kind of voice and all things will be well.
A tip I can give you to better your fluff (or any genre honestly) writing is probably to tap into your character's psyche and elaborate more on your main character's emotions and memories. Like you could have explained more about her stay in korea, why she would stay in a country for a guy she wasn't sure was even available, what made her fall in love with him, the little things he did to sweep her off her feet, those kinds of things. Explaining these things will add more depth to your character and make it easier for readers to connect with her. Also, you want to make your story kind of realistic so then your main character can be even more relatable to readers and have your story sound less like a fairy tale and more like a slice of life kind of thing. Like no person would ever stay in a country they hardly knew of for the person they admired when they honestly have everything to lose. So you kinda want to show that your character was seriously in love with him, like him him, like all of him till death do they part kind of thing. It'll help to add a bit of realism to your story.
Also, another tip that can apply to any piece of writing really is that instead of saying how your character feels, show your reader what your character feels. LIke it's easy to say that person A hated person B but you want to show why person A hates person B, the tension between the two people, how it is practically impossible for them to mix, that kind of thing.
These are some of the things I would have done if I was to write the story though so take it as it is.
