The Blue Jacket

Description

My name is Sadcha, and I’m 17. You might think my name is weird, but I actually like it. Why? Because i'm the only one who has that name at my school. I hate the kids at my school because i think they are stupid, except I'm not allowed to call them that, even though that's what they are. Let's go back to my name now; I have no idea why my parents chose to call me that. When I asked my mom she just said:" Don't worry sweetheart, not everyone has that name." I never know what she meant by that. I decided not to talk about small things, like my hobbies, what I like to do. We'll just skip that part because you will know later on. People think that I'm weird because I’m always carrying a blue jacket around. But they have no idea why. That's why I think people are stupid sometimes. They don't need to know anything before they judge. I'm going to tell you why I always carry the jacket now.

Foreword

One day I was on the bus to go home, not the school bus but the public one. I hate taking school buses because the kids are too loud and you're not allowed to listen to music. So I told my mom I’m not going to take the school bus anymore because I don't feel comfortable. She didn't even answer, so I took it as a yes. Since that day I just took the public buses. Even though I end up walking home sometimes because I missed the bus. Well one day I was in a bad mood and I walked on the bus, I noticed that someone was sitting on my usual spot.  I didn't even look at the person, so I decided to go sit somewhere else. But if it was the school bus I would ask that person to get up and go get another place to sit. That's why I sometimes like the school bus because I can do anything I want except for listen to music. And I’m addicted to music. I sat in the corner of the bus with my head down, and I put my music on. It was so loud but I didn't care because I don't talk to the people on the bus. When I finally lift my head up, I noticed that the person was still sitting on my spot. It was almost my stop, so I decided to stand up. When I tried to get up I heard a noise. "It can't be" I thought. I turned my head down to the chair and I saw a part of my skirt stuck in a hole on the chair. I tried to pull it out and that's when my skirt was ripped. I quickly sat back down. I was thinking of how I’m going to go home with my skirt like that. I took a look on the window and I was confused for a second. That's when I realized that the bus has already passed my house. When I took a look on the person on my spot, I noticed that he was looking at me with a smile on his face. "Does he think that it's funny?" I said on my head. "He might be some kind of ert" I whisper to myself. And I saw him getting up, for a second I thought he was going to get off the bus but he was walking towards me. I tried to stay calm, because I didn't know what he was going to do. There were a lot of people on the bus anyways, I wasn't scared. When he was close enough to touch me, he took my hands and made me stand up. Then he wrapped his jacket on my waist and it covered the back of my skirt. I was still shocked, that I didn't even say a word until he was done. He was looking at me and I know he was speaking because I saw his lips moving. But I couldn't hear what he was saying. I was just staring at his face. When i finally took my eyes off of him, I noticed that I still had my headphones on my ears. That's why I couldn't hear him. So I took them off, and said:" Thank you" He was looking at me, like I did something wrong. Then he finally said: "You didn't hear what I just said, did you?" I said:" Sorry I couldn't hear you with the headphones on". He sighed and said:" When you got on the bus I was trying to tell you not to sit there because the chair is broken, but you looked so angry so I didn't say anything. "Whose fault was it that I sat on the broken chair" I wanted to say. But he saved me and I didn't want to be rude, I asked him what about his jacket, how am I going to return it, he replied:" If we met today, we obviously going to meet another day" And he got off somewhere I had no idea where it was. I got home so late that day that my mom said I’m not going to take the public buses anymore.
