 It had been a month since promotions for GEMS' summer album ended and they were all happily resting at the dorms.

 

  “Chae Rin, come here please. You are need at the SM building.” Kyung, GEMS' manager said from the door.

 

  “Just me?” Chaeri asked standing up.

 

  “Yes.” he said before walking out the door to open the door to the car.

 

  “What do they need me for?” she asked looking up at her manager with a confused face.

 

  “Not sure, but once you get there go to SM's office. That's where you are needed.” Kyung said before closing the door.

 

~At the SM Building~

 

  “Annyeong.” Chaeri said bowing once she entered the office.

 

  “Chae Rin please, take a seat.” Soo Man, the founder of SM said pointing to a seat.

 

  “Neh.” She said bowing once again before taking a seat.

 

  “Let's get straight to the point so that you both can go home and rest...I believe you two have met before correct?” he asked pointing to Chaeri and the boy next to her.

 

  “Neh.” they both said nodding and looking at each other.

 

  “You two will be forming a project group together. You may come up with your own name for the group if you'd like. Jacket shoots will start next week and after that you prepare for filming. You two are free to discuss the name now if you'd like.” SM standing up to go check on the trainee's.

 

  “Thank you SM appa.” Chaeri said bowing before he left.

 

  “Appa?” the boy asked.

 

  “All the females here call him appa, since he is the only father figure here.” Chaeri said smiling at him.

 

  “Ah...i'm Kim Jong Hyo. I wasn't able to tell you my name the last time we met. I'm the rapper and lead singer of LC9, my stage name is J-Hyo.” J-Hyo said bowing to Chaeri.

 

  “Please don't bow to me...it makes me feel old...My name is Chae Rin, i''m the leader and lead singer of GEMS, but most people call me Chaeri or Riri.” She said scratching the back of her neck.

 

  “Nice to meet you Riri...so what should we name the project group?” he asked sitting back down.

 

  “What about 2LS?” Chaeri asked after thinking for a while.

 

  “What does it stand for?” he asked looking at her.

 

  “Two Lead Singers.” Chaeri said laughing.

 

  “Nice..what about 211LSLR?” he asked combining their positions.

 

  “That sounds epic....Two Lead Singers, One Leader, One Rapper...It's a good thing it sounds cool short because that is a long name. Let's go with that one. 211LSLR.” Chaeri said smiling.

 

  “You two have a good imagination.” SM said coming back into the office.

 

  “Thank you SM appa.” Chaeri said bowing.

 

  “You're welcome. You two are free to go now.” he said dismissing the two.

 

  “Thank you.” both Chaeri and J-Hyo said before leaving.

 

  “Wanna go get something to eat? It's still early.” J-Hyo asked looking at his watch.

 

  “Sounds like fun..just let me text my manager.” Chaeri said before sending a short text to Kyung.

 

  “Ready?” he asked holding out his hand.

 

  “Yep.” Chaeri said smiling before they walked hand-in-hand to the nearest restaurant.

 

~Three weeks later~

 

 The teasers for the project group had gained a lot of attention and now they were preparing for the release of the music video.

 

 The name of the song was 'Love Like No Other'. A simple song filled with vocals from the two as well as a little rapping from J-Hyo.

 

 Once midnight hit the MV was released and within hours it made an all-kill causing Chaeri to have a near heart attack when she heard the news.

 

  “I didn't expect that...” Chaeri said with wide eyes looking at all the attention the video was receiving.

 

  “That's...amazing....” J-Hyo said from behind her.

 

 The other members were in the room laughing at the two because of the faces they were making.

 

  “You two close your mouths...you look like dying fish.” Miri said before Chaeri threw a near by shoe to her.

 

  “Your recording for debut is today. Please get some rest.” Kyung said before turning everything off and shooing everyone to their respected dorms.
