And Hop He Goes (one shot)

Description

Junsu and Yoochun always have weird conversations, Jaejoong thought. But this one is the weirdest yet.

Foreword

And Hop He Goes

Jaejoong picked up the books the children had strewn on the floor for the nth time that day. His job as a home room teacher in a kindergarten had at last come to an end today.

'Another day tomorrow', he mused while smiling fondly at the toys he arranged in boxes a few minutes before. He was always very busy whenever the kids were excited about an event. He and his co-teacher, Junsu, were always the ones to go home late on these occasions.

Speaking of his co-teacher, he hadn't seen Junsu for some time now. Not since his boyfriend, Yoochun came a few hours earlier carrying bags after bags of he didn't know what. Junsu just said that he and Yoochun shouldn't be disturbed in any way before proceeding to the school kitchen. They had been there close to two hours now and Jaejoong knew that if he wanted to go home early, he had to drag those two out.

Marching out the classroom and into the serviceable kitchen area, Jaejoong slowly and silently pushed the door to peek into the room. He didn't see either Junsu or Yoochun so he decided to go inside to check on them. But he hadn't even finished the thought when he heard a very discernible laugh.

“Yah! I told you not to put it there, my asparagus will melt!” It was Junsu laughingly berating his boyfriend. His statement was followed with his eukyang-kyang laugh.

It was followed by Yoochun's answer. “I won't let it melt if you won't let my pineapple melt.” Jaejoong could hear the greasiness in Yoochun's voice even through the door. It made him shudder to think what these two were doing.

'They were just supposed to paint eggs for the Easter egg hunt the kids would have tomorrow. What the heck are they doing melting vegetables?' Jaejoong confusedly thought. But if it were these two, they were probably doing something unspeakable.

He knew he shouldn't have believed Yoochun to be doing something 'wholesome', not when Junsu was around. They were like a horse without it's master's reins when left alone. No, he could not just stand there and listen to them make something illegal in a kindergarten school no less!

With that decision made, Jaejoong started to push the door open when Yoochun spoke again.

“If your fish swam into my egg, I will kick your Junsu. I swear.”

“But you love my Yoochunie! And my fish will stay in your egg. Don't you dare take it out. And it's a big chunk too, you're lucky you got a big one.”

The two then proceeded to argue over the fish and the egg it would swim to. Jaejoong felt a nasty headache coming his way. He didn't really know if he should stay or leave. After a few minutes of internal debate, he decided that he couldn't take the necessary energy for his braincells to work and understand the weird couple. So he left. He just prayed that tomorrow would not be a disaster for the kids.

Yoosu POV

Junsu picked a small portion of cooked tuna with his fork and proceed to put the food morsel into a  perfectly formed egg shaped chocolate shell. He continuously added more until the tuna almost filled the chocolate shell to the brim.

“If you really like tuna, you should have just said that I order tuna steaks. That would have been much easier for you.” Yoochun said momentarily after watching his boyfriend put more of the said fish inside the shell.

They had been making chocolate eggs for the kids for the Easter egg hunt tomorrow. Then his boyfriend specifically said that he buy certain ingredients that he knew weren't really included in making chocolates. Yoochun then saw Junsu making pineapple chocolates, asparagus chocolates, onion chocolates and now tuna chocolates. Each ingredient made Yoochun's taste buds rebel.

“It's not as awful as you think you know,” Junsu made a face at Yoochun's bewildered expression. “It's pretty tasty. Wanna try?” He said at the same time shoving his forkful of tuna chocolate in Yoochun's direction.

“No thanks. I'm fine with my good old milk chocolates.”

Junsu just shrugged and continued making unique Easter treats. He hummed a song under his breath that suspiciously sounded like an Easter song.

Yoochun thought his boyfriend was very sweet when he suggested they make chocolates but now he wasn't so sure. What if the kids ate the weird chocolates? They would have an angry mob of parents for sure. Yoochun was sure Junsu would not do that to the children though. So if the chocolates of doom weren't for the kids, then for whom were they?

He immediately thought of all the parents and the guests who would be in attendance tomorrow and suddenly Yoochun couldn't feel more frightened for them. He looked at his sweet-faced boyfriend and he could not help a small smile touch his lips. His little angel was a naughty devil inside.

Overwhelmed with a sudden burst of emotion, Yoochun put down everything in his hands and went to his boyfriend. With a tight hug and a little kiss implanted on Junsu's cheek, Yoochun looked at the man before him.

Junsu turned and smiled at him. “What was that for? Are you hungry?”

Yoochun laughed and said, “No, silly. I just had a revelation.”

An eyebrow arched at his statement. “A revelation, hmmm...I wonder what that is. I just hope it's not nasty or something painful for me.”

Yoochun's eyes gleamed with humor, “Of course not! Nothing painful for my little bunny. Unless you asked for it.” He then proceeded to nip the back of Junsu's neck with playful bites and held him until he squirmed.

“Stop! Someone might come. Jaejoong-hyung is just outside.” Junsu said while wriggling in Yoochun's arms.

“Ah, Jaejoong-hyung knows what we're doing anyway. It's not even a shock.”

“Yah! Are you telling me I'm easy?” Junsu asked with a hurt expression on his face.

Yoochun was quick to amend. “No my love, it's just that, we always show our love through our actions and it's kind of impossible to hide it.”

Junsu momentarily paused and then nodded his head. “I guess you're right. But I’ll still get you for implying that I'm easy.”

Yoochun just laughingly hugged him. “You won't. You know you won't win against me. But I'd love to see you try.”

Junsu just smiled lovingly at his boyfriend while thinking, 'Oh yes, I will.'

Jaejoong thought that the Easter egg hunt was a success. It was actually hard to believe since he didn't see Junsu or Yoochun until early that morning carrying a big basket full of colorful eggs. Yoochun also had a box full of sweets and chocolates. He was almost tempted to snag one of those small eggs. It was one of his favorite things in the world. And from what he could see in the parents' and guests' faces, he could say that he wasn't the only one tempted. Those two could really tease.

After the kids got their yummy eggs and sweet treats, it was time for the grown-ups to have their fun too.

Junsu went to the center of the room and announced that he had a game also for the grown ups. Of course everyone wanted to join especially the teachers.

“Okay, the main objective is to hunt eggs of course but we changed it a bit. I call this Egg Hunting Challenge.” Junsu took out an egg out of the basket they put out for the program. “This is a special egg because inside is actually chocolates.” The guests grew excited and a low murmur started.

“What you need to do is just find eggs like these,” he showed the eggs to everyone, “and you just collect as many as you can. The more you find the better.”

“That's easy!” one father exclaimed.

Junsu smiled in acknowledgement. “Yes, I know. That's why there's a twist. I have planted some 'special eggs' in these chocolates. And the team that gets the most of these 'special eggs' will get a prize. Which I will reveal at the end of the game. So, are we ready?”

A chorus of enthusiastic responses greeted Junsu's question. The guests spread throughout the school grounds to look for the 'special eggs' Junsu showed them. It was clear that they were having a good time as they bent over some chairs, reach for some low branches and land on their hands and knees to get some of the elusive eggs. The teachers had a most wonderful time in the hunt.

After some time, different groups started coming back to the room. They were each holding colorful eggs and were chatting very animatedly. Once everyone was inside the room again, Junsu started to count the eggs of each team. But of course, he also had to count the 'special eggs'. After some minutes of counting, he deemed Jaejoong's team as the winner because they got the most 'special eggs'. Yoochun's team lost.

Junsu then motioned everyone to settle down for his announcement of the special prize.

“Since we have a winner, I will now reveal the prize. As I mentioned earlier, I put there some special eggs with unique ingredients. So the prize is that the winning team will be saved in eating the eggs. They can actually give the eggs to the losing team because well, they lost. So start giving the eggs guys!”

The moment Junsu said the consequence of losing, Jaejoong saw that Yoochun turned white. He noticed Junsu was smiling that smile of his that said he had just won something big time.

The losing team started to eat the eggs and started running for the bathroom. And well, outside, to do their business. Jaejoong just stared in shock as Yoochun's face scrunched up and tried very valiantly to chew and not spit. One look at Junsu however changed his mind.

Yoochun threw the egg and started to run towards a very happy Junsu. And from his angle, Jaejoong could see that Junsu was actually hopping away.
