Stop & Stare
Description
Daehyun finds hope in the form of a long, knotted rope hanging from the branch of a tree just on the banks of a small creek. The long limb around which the rope was secured stretched out across the relatively shallow water, an overhang that cast shadows onto the rippling rivulet. He reached for the thick, woven fiber length, fingers curling just above the fourth knot. He pulled, putting as much weight and strength as he could into the yanking to be sure that both the branch and the rope were steady before his feet lifted off the ground, finding place in the first knot, and he was shot across the width of the spring with a yelp of excitement.
You built up a world of magic, because your real life was tragic.
Foreword
LOL I think by now everybody's understood that I have a for two things: communication through ways other than verbal and animal hybrids. xD;;
This is dedicated to my lovebug Carrie. <3 It's a little surprise because I'm going away on vacation tomorrow and I won't be able to talk to her for a while, so I know she'll be very sad and lonely. :c This is a little something for her to look forward to for when I'm back~ tbh I got the inspiration for this story from my relationship with her haha ><'' I love you sweetiepie, I'll miss you! <33333
This won't be posted until after I get back, and it miiiiight take a while because I don't know how much I'll be able to write while on vacation.
The title came from the song Stop and Stare by One Republic
The sentence at the very end of the description is also not mine, it was written on the walls of the toilet stalls in my old high school, but it's also from Brick By Boring Brick by Paramore. c:
