Foreword

Hello everyone ! Already back with an EXO one-shot that should come out soon, I've been working on it for several days so... It shouldn't take too long anymore !

Pairings: Kaisoo | Chenlay [Mentions of Baekyeol, Hunhan, Taoris and Xiuho as side pairings]

Warnings: Drug use, mention of , alcohol.

Authorized translations:

  • French, translated by myself (X)
  • German, translated by YukikoMiyano (X)

This is a one-shot taking place in 1970, I've gotten this idea while listening to several albums from the sixties and seventies. This is way different from Kpop but this is also one of my favourite music styles. If you want to know what I'm listening to while writing this, here are a few links:

The Velvet Underground - Pale blue eyes

The Velvet Underground - Heroin

David Bowie - Space Oddity

David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust

The Rolling Stones - Angie

The Beatles - Twist and shout

The Eagles - Hotel California

Chapter 1: Thank you. This is my favorite time, the 70s. I really love it, and you made it feel so real. I wanted to be there, and cry. Thank you. You write this story better than any I have tried to write to illiterate on the same points, and it is wonderful. I really, really enjoyed it.

Chapter 1: This is really a work of glory. It's so angsty that I cried. Poor Kyungsoo and his unrequited love. If only Jongin had his eyes open to notice that Kyungsoo has geelings for him. Drugs aren't something like food that is easy to spit out when it too hot to bear. Lucky Yixing and Luhan, they're still given a chance to change themselves. Unfortunately, Kyungsoo didn't had that previlage. But what happend to him set an example to his peers. For me, defying normalcy and rules doesn't define someone strong. It only makes them weak because they need escape. They can't face reality. The want to forget. I'm so sorry for my endless blabber. This is glorious, bye. ; ^ ;

Chapter 1: //Sob sob sob// Hand me a tissue, please.
Seriously, this was well written, no matter how heartbreaking it was. I don't think I've read a 70sAU EXO story and liked it. So, well done for making me a fan of your writing! Jongin remains true to his character till the end, he was a playboy and falling in love was never in the game for him, though he'd learnt painful consequences the cool indifference lifestyle he had perfected. Kyungsoo meanwhile has fallen in deep and drowned at the end in his unrequited love. Overdose. How apt. //Can't unsee Dr Suho in those glasses, white shirt and perfect blond () hair//

Totally unrelated, but I love the song Angie. Embarrassing to say this but the first time I'd heard of Angie was when Tori Amos made a (great!) cover out of it, and that's when I finally knew Rolling Stones sang it first. I blame my parents for not being a Rolling Stones fan!

Write more Kaisoo, will you?
