I had gone to bed ridiculously early after the mishap with Donghae, which meant I woke up ahead of the sunrise the next morning.  I rolled over so I could check the time on my phone and was shocked to find Donghae fast asleep in my bed.  What the ? 

Donghae was cradling his broken arm and his knees were pulled up to his chest so that he was sleeping curled into a ball just like a puppy at the foot of my bed.  I nudged him with my toe until he woke up.  "Hae, what are you doing?"

Donghae came awake slowly and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.  "I don't want you to be mad at me."

"What does that have to do with you sleeping in my bed?  It's kind of strange."

"Oh... Umm... I think I did something wrong and I want to make it up to you."

"Make what up to me?  What did you do?"

"What happened yesterday.  What I did."

"It is too early and I left my secret decoder ring in my other pajamas.  Will you please speak in a language I understand."

"I just mean... I'll have with you."

I choked on my spit and started coughing violently.  Donghae sat up and started slapping my back until I moved away from him.  My throat was on fire, but I was eventually able to breathe again.  "You'll what?"

"I'll sleep with you."

I frowned and tried to figure out what he was up to.  He looked pretty relaxed, except for some leftover concern over my coughing fit, and his face was open and honest.  I rubbed my eyes with my palms.

"Are you crazy or something?  What does that even mean?" I asked.  I was totally confused about what was going on.  What did he do wrong?  What would solve?!

"It means..."  Donghae slid across the bed until our legs were touching.  "You can sleep with me."  He leaned forward and our lips touched for the briefest of moments before I shoved him away again.

"Donghae this is some seriously twisted .  I don't want to sleep with you."

"You don't?"

"No!"

"Why not?  I'm attractive, right?"

How was I supposed to explain this?  "You are, but... I don't like you like that."

"Yeah you do, you were yesterday."

"I know, but it doesn't mean I want to sleep with you.  Have you ever slept with a man before?"

"No," he admitted.

"Then why do you want to start now?"

"So you won't be mad at me anymore.  You're my first friend, my only friend, and I don't want to lose you because I did something wrong.  It's not really a big deal, it's only ."

" is a big deal, especially deizing your friend with gay , which is why I'm not going to sleep with you."

"That doesn't make any sense," he pouted.

"I know you don't really want to have with me Donghae.  Since we're friends I'm stopping you from making a huge mistake."

"Do you want to sleep with me Hyukjae?"

"It doesn't matter."

"I knew it.  You do!"  He started taking off his pants and they were already around his ankles before I could stop him.

I threw my blanket over his head and jumped out of bed.  "What is wrong with you?  I said I don't want to sleep with you!"

"Yeah, you said that, but you didn't mean it," Donghae retorted as he pulled the blanket from his head and dropped it into his lap.

"I don't get it.  What did you do wrong that you think you have to make it up to me?"

"Umm... I made you mad yesterday."

"I wasn't mad at you, I was mad at myself."

My roommates face twisted in confusion.  "Why?"

"It's not important.  Just know that it wasn't your fault."

"You were pretty mad, so I think it is important.  Don't friends talk about stuff like this?  Feelings and stuff?"

"Maybe when it's not embarrassing as .  Donghae, we're friends, but it's not like we're reall
