SILVER MOON

 

I look up into the velvet night sky

Coated with speckles of dust

That sparkles and twinkles.

 

Fragments of dark clouds crumble in the mist.

To reveal a hidden gem.

A round silver plate that is cradled by the night.

 

I stare in wonder and awe at the miracles unfolding.

And let the solace of coldness, prick against my skin.

Nostalgic memories begin to occupy the bleakest parts of my mind.

 

The night is forever. We are not. We never were.

But as the shadows and seclusion embrace each other.

There will always be an exception to this iridescent nightmare.

 

The silver moon that continues to glow.

In the night sky it stays.

To protect the people living in the broken world.

FTC: This wasn't made up, well it is, well...okay it was just inspired by this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H69OR3ct4WQ And I know that the poem doesn't sound as "cheery" as the song itself, but this was just my interpretation.  And it's my first piece of writing on AFF. So yeah. 

Shoutout to these "baka" ikemens :P (C'mon guys it's called AFF for a reason right? Let's embrace Jpop as well :P)

And because "this one" has a special place in Senpai's heart <3 :P
