“EXO, who had won in all of Korea’s biggest music shows 15 consecutive times, had placed themselves number 1 in Japan’s music charts!” The reporter announced from the television.
Lay smirked before swiftly performing a turning sidekick and broke the wooden block Xiumin was holding out for him. The bottom of his foot that had made contact with the block was still in good shape and was in no way harmed at all, not even a splinter or anything. “As expected.” He commented on the report as he flipped his wrist back and forth while cracking his neck side to side.
“You’ve grown so cocky.” Xiumin commented.
“You have to be cocky to remain reigning in this industry for a long time, you know.” Kris interrupted, walking in the hallways to the living room where the two were at. “You can reign for a period of time by being nice and yourself, but reigning longer than that, you’re going to have to be full of yourself and consider yourself the best of the best.”
“We are the best of the best.” Kai remarked, his eyes glued on his laptop screen.
Kris turned to look at him while he talked, and then his head faced Xiumin and Lay with a look of ‘See?’. “You are who you think you are.” With that, Kris headed outside into the balcony. Lay looked at Xiumin and shrugged his shoulders after Kris went pass. The two continued to practice breaking more blocks in the middle of the living room while the others did their own things.

“Did you even have to try to be cocky, Kai?” Sehun asked; he was sitting on the sofa that was right next to where Kai was. “I mean, you’re cocky even when you shouldn’t be.”
“Do you want me…” Kai paused from his game and eyed him, “… to tell Krystal on you?”
Sehun scoffed. “Are you threatening me? Don’t be a coward.”
Kai raised an eyebrow and his lips curved up into a mischievous smile. He d for his phone and entered his password before showing his screen to Sehun. It was on Krystal’s contact and Kai was one press away from dialling her. “Actually, I’ve got her on speed dial… in case, you know… you become a brat again, brat.”
“You-” Sehun jumped to Kai, but he had already put his laptop down and made a run for his life. Sehun chased Kai around the whole house, having their screams and shouts echo through the thick walls of the place.
Luhan cringed a bit as he heard the two maknaes’ loud voices from his room; which was on the very far side from the living room. *Those insolents never stop, I swear.* He shuffled in his bed; his blankets still covering him as he had just woken up. He stretched and then let out a sigh before grabbing his phone from his nightstand and immediately going on the internet. He silently read the words he was typing onto the search engine: how to make two idiots shut up.
Silly results came up. Actually, they were good results but they all became so ridiculous because, heck, it’s Sehun and Kai we’re talking about. Luhan threw his phone onto the bed, heavily sighed before getting up, marched to his door, o
