Back in the dorm, at night~

“__________ah, how long have you regained your memories?” L probed as he took your hand into his.

You smiled sheepishly and replied truthfully, “Since the start of today.”

L gaped at you, then laughed, “Trust you to keep it from me. What were you waiting for?” His eyes sparkled.

You giggled, “For the right time.”

“Which is?” His eyes studied yours, the warmth of his brown eyes enfolding you.

“When you say that you love me?” You teased.

“You know I do. Mmm… By the way, does the promise you made when we were small still count?” L grinned boyishly, causing you to melt.

“What promise?” You feigned innocence.

“YOU FORGOT? MAN, THAT WAS THE BEST PART! You promised to marry me!” L pouted.

“Maybe I didn't remember that part. It was probably the most traumatizing?” You mocked the upset L.

L buried his head in his hands.

You patted his back, “It’s okay. I remembered. I was just trying to make you freaked out.” You punched his arm lightly.

“HELLOO L!!!!” You hollered when his head remained down.

L sat up swiftly. “Now that you recall it, I'm going to make sure that promise never falls out.”

“You're promising me to keep my promise?” you processed it in your mind.

“Yep.” L leaned in to kiss you.
