“It’s okay…if you want to go back here…I mean, I understand now that men will have these urges…and maybe in the future, I’ll have them too. Just Kyuhyun-ah, promise me you’ll always come home to me?”

Kyuhyun sighed and shook his head, running his fingers carefully through Sungmin’s hair so he wouldn’t wake up. It had been a long, eventful day for both of them, but probably more for his spouse. He chuckled when he moved one time and cuddled closer to Kyuhyun, seeking warmth. He kissed the top of his head fondly. Sometimes his spouse is too innocent for his own good.

“I probably should apologize for real tomorrow huh?” he said to the sleeping form, confident enough Sungmin wouldn’t wake because he was indeed a heavy sleeper. “I’m sorry Min” he remembered the look on the younger’s face earlier and he felt instantly guilty. Of course this wouldn’t have happened if Victoria didn’t make Sungmin work in the club, but when the more he thought about it, he was a little more to blame. He was the adult, and even though he had no ill intentions when he agreed to come with Minho since he knew how the man acts when he gets drunk, he was a married man. He just shouldn’t have come.

His fingers trailed Sungmin’s cheeks. It was already late in the evening now, close to the first hour of the next day. Sungmin fell asleep the moment his back hit the bed when they came home but Kyuhyun remained wide awake. It completely slipped his mind that it was his birthday, and he realized that was probably why Sungmin was acting a little weird that morning. He was probably planning something to surprise him after school. The thought made him smile, his Sungmin was absolutely perfect.

“Mmn…Kyu…Mn…” he looked down as Sungmin mumbled into his side “Love you…Kyu…”

“I love you too Min” he whispered into his ear. Sungmin didn’t respond, but then again Kyuhyun knew he was just sleep talking. He settled in beside the sleeping
