What Software For Video Editing Should I Use?

So what software?

Now I know that vidoe editing is difficult espcially without experience but the easiest one to use is Windows Movie Maker. It's a simple tool and I actually like the transitions of one video to another but the only problem is that it's a bit hard to fully manipulate the vidoes since you're tools are very limited and plus you can't cut vidoes.

If you're planning to use Windows Movie Maker I also suggest downloading the Freemake Video Converter. It's a good way to convert vidoes into any format (preferably .wmv because it's compatible with most softwares) and it has a great cutting tool for you to use :)

The software I use is Sony Vegas Pro 12, which is AMAZEBALLS. It's really complicated though and since I had no one to teach me I had to start from scratch so if you're planning to use this software expect some WTF moments and moments of "what is this place, where am I" moments. You also have to pay for it it can be cracked too but don't ask me how, find it out for yourself so use this software wisely.

Other than that I heard that there are other software editing tools and you're free to use them but I think these two (Windows Movie Maker & Sony Vegas Pro 12*) is the best to work with. Especially Windows Movie Maker, if you know how to manipulate vidoes and timing then even with a simple software you can create something beautiful! Yes I know it's horrible, so many mistakes OTL but it's a good starting point and it'll make you realize that even with little to no experience you can make a decent trailer lol

*In my opinion 12 has been the best out all the new versions (it's also the latest) because you can animate the text in 12, the other versions don't allow that.
