Personality:
Kai has a rather full on personality and will often go with the flow of life. On stage she is tough and rough around the edges but off stage she is a rather charming and sweet young lady. Her manners have been noted as second to none and she has ocasionally been refered to as the female Choi Siwon (Super Junior) for her over use of hand gestures. She has always been warm and welcoming to those around her. Because of her warm inviting face and language talents she is able to start a conversation with anyone and will befriend most people within the first few hours of knowing them. She isnt shy and will speak up for herself or others if she believes she is in the right but she is never rude and will listen to others point of view. She is very grown up and mature for her age, she often suprises people with her leaderlike personality and understanding of the world around her, she is a very understanding and always looks for the best solution if a heated situation occurs. Kai loves comedy and has been noted by those that know her well as sligtly dirty minded, she love British and Japanese comedy, her favourite program being Gaki No Tsukai. She loves spending time with family and friends because she knows life doesnt last forever so you need to make the most of it. Even with her busy schedule she hasnt once missed a day off school and is a straight A student, of which many of her fellow trainees joke that she is a so called 'boffin'. She is a tomboy at heart and has never once been seen wearing a dress or a skirt, she has stated that she prefers not to wear any clothing with any bright colours because she doesnt like being too girly. Even though she is an aparent tomboy, she does have a hidden feminine side of which can be seen through her love of fashion and jewelry. She has a somewhat punk style, often being seen in skinny jeans, a graphic top, colourful sneakers and a cap/hat. She is also an extreme sports enthusiast, her favourite sports and activities being caving, rock climbing, snowboarding, skiing, free running, skateboarding and martial arts. She likes to keep herself heathly and enjoys doing so. Kai also like cooking foods from around the world and likes making weird combo's with different foods. Her favourite food is spicy chicken curry with rice. She has traveled around the world and has seen alot of beatiful sights, she traveled with her parents as a child because of there job. Her favourite places are South Korea, South Africa, Taiwan and England. She loves being able to learn new cultures and will often stay in one place for a while before moving on. When traveling she is always willing to try new things and enjoys being able to see what she likes and dislikes. To say the least she isnt afaid to jump in at the deep end.ai

Family Background:
She was born in Nanjing, China and spent most of her early childhood here. Kai spent her time around extreme sports, her father (SaLing) is a mountain climber and enjoyed caving whilst her mother (MinHee) is a gymnast. Whilst they traveled the world competing in competitions Kai would often tag along, her parents taught her how keep herself healthy and safe for long periods of time because they knew that it could all come in handy one day, they also taught her many different sports and encouraged her to join in with them whenever they were doing activities. She was lucky enough to climb Mount Everast with her parents when she was 14 years old and loves the challenging aspect that it brought. She is physically tougher and stronger than most girls her age. . Whilst she loved extreme sports she would often be found dancing and rapping in her room when the family werent doing anything. When they finally settled in Shanghai, China when Kai was 11 her father set about getting her some proper dance and singing lessons because he could see she had a talent and passion in the art form. She has travelled to over 15 countries and took part in over 200 sports competitions. Kai has been lucky enough never to have any major bad parts in her life, her most painful moment was when she broke her wrist after falling 2 stories when she was 11. Doctors said she was very lucky she did not break any other bones and barely had any brusises, that was her first and only trip to hospital. Because of her korean and chinese background she has been able to converse with those around her easily, along the way whilst she was travelling she has also picked up the basics on many other language. She has spent her time in and out of school and when she was 11 her parents decided to take her out and started to home school her, as a child she spent much time around adults hence having a more mature attiude to life than others the same age. Because she has always been on the move she has never spent more than a few years in one place without travelling to another country, she barely unpacks any personal items any more because it is far easier than having to pack then unpack then pack again. She has never had a pet, she is unable to look after it because her and her parents are always so busy, she has always wanted a cat because she loves how there somewhat fiesty but loyal at the same time. She is both close and not close to her parents, whilst she does she them it isnt to often anymore but all of them understand the reasons and hence are able to allow the other to get on with life. They try and see each other when they can but because of Kai's training and her parents sporting activities it is becoming more and more harder. Kai is an only child and her parents have never shown interest in having another child .

The pair are married and very happy, Kai gets on with the pair of them very well and they fully support her and her dream. She does see them but not so often now she is busy with training and that they are busy with competition. They understand each others commitments and just enjoy the time they have together. They live in Shanghai.
