Seoul, even after six years have passed nothing much has changed – it was still the same place Jaejin had left. She just didn’t know if that’ supposed to be a good thing or not.

She was at the top floor of Revolution Entertainment’s building in Seoul, staring at the city she willingly left years ago through the wide glass windows of her office. Why was she back here again?

But before she could brood over the past yet again, the people she has been waiting for arrived – rudely entering her office with the loud ruckus they always seem to bring and wide smiles to their faces.

“Were here Noona!” Kim Jaejoong, previously DBSK’s now JYJ’s visual and also her cousin greeted as he went directly towards her and gave a kiss on her cheeks.

“You’re all late by five minutes.” She instead answered. Giving the rest of the boys a disappointed stare to which they all ignored.

“Cut us some slack will you? We just came back from each of our schedules. You are aware we don’t work together anymore.” Silence followed along after Yoochun said those words. It was a fact all of them were trying to ignore and that literally threw them off balance for a moment.

“Well? Have you got it?” Jaejin finally spoke, breaking the ice.

“Yup! Here’s my pick. I hope you like him.” Junsu said and he dropped a file at Jaejin’s mahogany table. Jaejin picked it up and flipped over it. Not bad…

“Where’s the leader, Yunho?” she said, placing Junsu’s folder gently back at the table and turned towards the group leader, staring at his smile in amusement.

“I’d say I couldn’t find anyone more perfect than him for the role.” The leader spoke and handed Jaejin another folder. She accepted it with a nod and placed it alongside Junsu’s folder.

“I hope your right about that Yunho. I’m trusting all of you would choose the perfect members for Preserved Roses.” Jaejin spoke, looking at each of the man’s eyes – getting confident smirks in answer.

“Have some faith in us Noona. When have we let you down?” Yoochun smirked and he let his folder fall on top of Yunho’s. Jaejin nodded and stared expectantly at Jaejoong and Changmin.

Jaejoong sighed and smiled brightly at her, placing his folder neatly on top of Yoochun’s. “Chun is right Noona; You know we love you too much.” The pretty man grinned and it was all Jaejin needed before she herself let out a laugh, shaking her head at the antics of her dongsaengs.

“Still conceited I see, I’m disappointed it didn’t change.”

“But that’s better that way right Noona?” the maknae spoke and handed his folder to the woman, to which she accepted with a smile.

“I’m really grateful you know? For fulfilling this request of mine.” Yunho shook his head and waved his hands in front of his face.

“Don’t sweat it Noona.” the woman smiled and nodded.

A ring rang throughout the whole room and Jaejin hastily took her phone form the table top.

“Hello?”

“Hey! Were in the middle of baking right now and we ran out of sugar. Can you send some here?” Jaejin sighed and looked back towards the glass windows, to the building opposite hers and to the woman also looking at her – eyebrows raised, right-hand on the phone and left-hand placed on the hip.

“Fine, wait for it.” She muttered and ended the call, placing her phone back to the table top before turning back to the men looking curiously at her and was obviously eavesdropping.

“Can I ask another favor of you boys?”

“That depends Noona, shoot it away.” Her cousin replied.

“See the building in front?” she pointed at the building the woman she earlier talked to the phone was at. The men nodded at her and waited for her to continue. “Well, it is owned by her.”

Changmin widened his eyes. “H-her, Noona? She’s back?” he asked in disbelief, blinking rapidly at the suggestive smile the CEO gave him.

“We arrived together my dear Minmin. Anyways, she is in current need of sugar and I want you to send her some.”

“What are we Noona? Your errand-“

“WHERE IS YOUR SUGAR NOONA!?” Yoochun was cut off by Changmin’s enthusiastic reply. The man wanted to retaliate but after seeing the shining eyes of their maknae his resolved weakened.

Jaejin chuckled at the cute enthusiasm Changmin was emiting. “It’s down on the second level by the kitchen. Thank you once again.” She waved off as she stared at the men’s retreating backs, having followed their enthusiastic maknae's lead.

Once she was left alone, she sank into the plush velvety sofa and took all the folders into her hands.

“Now, let’s see who they have chosen for me.”
