KRYSTAL'S POV

One day, she was just a sunbae. Someone I treat as an older sister and a good friend at times. The next minute, my heart started beating too fast like it hadn't made a single beat since I had life. Well, it wasn't supposed to be like that. It should NEVER be like that. She was never the person I'd ever imagine to love but it happened so quickly I had no time to step back and dodge whatever had hit me to feel such thing. If it was that easy to deflect then it wouldn't have been this complicated because this love I'm keeping right now here in my chest, it should NEVER be here in the first place.

I remember that day so clearly. It was just an afternoon of delight at our backyard as we were celebrating my birthday. Some of our seniors were able to come and of course, my members were all there. I was getting a slice of cake when she stood beside me with a smile. I smiled back asking if she wanted a slice as well. She shook her head then said she had something for me. She stood a little closer, slowly wrapping the knitted scarf around my neck. My eyes were fixed absentmindedly onto her face, mesmerized and was left to wonder for a while. It was followed by a loud thud. It was getting faster and louder as it continued to fill up my whole chest. That was the first time we had that tiny gap between us ever since we've known each other and the first time that I felt my heart about to explode. She grinned and said happy birthday really loud. She pulled me for a tight hug as she happily say the words "Saranghae-yo" directly to my ear. I was taken aback, not knowing what to say to her in reply. She chuckled then gave me that usual Unnie-Dongsaeng pat on my head before saying goodbye. I turned around secretly reaching out for my chest. I didn't have any idea what it would grow into.

The next day I saw her again while walking through the corridors of the company. It was just the two of us back then. I smiled politely, bowed a little and she did the same. After we passed by each other was when I was able to let out a huge amount of breath. She pulled my hand all of a sudden, turning my body 180 degrees to face her. Then I felt it again. She asked if I saw her members and I answered no right away before she left me with that charming smile she's known for. I stared at my hand for a second, asking myself why it felt so good when she was holding it. I then yearned to feel her hand again.

She drove me insane for days. I was a bit anxious yet overwhelmed with excitement to see her. But weeks went by and no HER appeared in front of my eyes, not even a glimpse. I even missed her more than my own sister. I leaned back, pondering. Suddenly I had this realization that took me a couple of steps back from completely losing my control over myself. It made me grew weary and displeased. I was scared and a little bit guilty. I was not supposed feel anything like it from the beginning yet I couldn't help it.

She came one night wearing that cute bear hoodie of hers while we were practicing for the next day's show. The other sunbaenims came and decided to watch us while they're waiting for Mr. Lee's announcement. I was feeling uncomfortable knowing that somehow she'd be watching me as well. Fortunately, I didn't make any mistake, all of us didn't. Unnie though pointed one mistake that I did without knowing. I was too serious that I was only thinking of not messing up  the whole performance without showing the true feel of the song. She said I was the only one doing that which was odd since she knows how much effort I exert when performing even while practicing. I pouted and reasoned that I was slightly feeling dizzy. Unnie smiled and told me to rest well before going to the restroom leaving HER sitting at the corner while staring at nothing. Sulli went out with Unnie as well as Victoria Unnie and the rest were eating with Luna Unnie and Amber. I knew she'd be on that side already since food was the matter but to my surprise, she was standing next to me, arms slowly caging my waist. She laid her head on mine, her eyes closed as she was mumbling on how hungry she was yet too sleepy to move. My heart went on and off again but I had to act completely normal in front of everyone especially her. So I moved slowly while carrying her alongside. We got there just in time as they opened another bento. I took my chopsticks out and thought of feeding her since she's too damn lazy that time. She moved behind me, mouth already open as she rested her small chin on my shoulder. Her arms were still securely wrapped around my waist. I fed her until there's nothing left but even after that, she didn't let go. I could hear her breathing softly, mumbling and sighing. She did seem tired so I guess she fell asleep kind of shortly. Still, she had to go since their manager called them urgently to come inside the conference room for that good news. Even though she left, I felt contented for some reason. She was the cutest thing that had put a smile on my face the whole day and up until my sleep.

"You look happy." I greeted her as she enter the kitchen with a really huge smile. Unnie paused for a second, staring at the granite floor before shifting her eyes on me.

"Sooyoung kissed me." She said in a whisper, her smile widened even more. It was the first time I felt the word pain all over my chest.

"She did?"

"Just on the cheek though but heck." I was lost for words that I stood there for a moment motionless. But I had to speak to clear any sort of confusion both in my heart and mind.

"H-Hey... uhmmm..." I tucked my lips. She leaned her back on the counter without taking off that smile.

"I'm just really curious..." And a bit worried of the truth.

"What do you feel when you see Sooyoung Unnie?"

"Happy. Like really happy." Just seeing her makes me really happy.

"When you're with her?"

"It feels like I couldn't ask for anything else." Even if we're just sitting in the same room.

"How about when she smiles at you?"

"Heaven." Heaven.

"Have you ever felt pain when you hear or see someone being sweet on her?"

"It's called jealousy. It's a mixture of pain and desire where you could just wish you're the one she's doing that stuff to." Like what you said earlier that gave me a slight heart attack.

"Wait... why are you asking me cheesy things?"

"Huh? I told you I was just curious."

"You like someone, don't you?" I'm afraid so.

"Who is it?" I swear you'll hate me if I say who it is.

"No one."
