Valentine’s Day is a day associated with romantic love. Evolved through generations, it is still an occasion in which lovers express their love for each other in different ways, let it be something sentimental or comical.
 
Well, that’s what they want you to think.
 
Valentine’s Day is actually a day where in a world different from our own inhabit winged cupids. The sole existence and survival of our race that we are oblivious to, because without them, there would be no love.
 
Every year on the 14th of February, there’s a tournament that happens. In this tournament 16 selected cupids play a game.
 
How to win is simple, they select a couple that they think will win in the form of their relationship and such, and if they were to win they would all be given their freedom.  Cupids are given the privilege of having their wings clipped and becoming human. If not, cupid would die and the couple can either die too, or choose to live a life where they’ll never meet and therefore had never fallen in love with each other. 
 
They have been doing this for centuries.
 
With sixteen players, only one can win. This is The Love Games.
 
Park Hyemi is the girl that gets chosen. She’s smart, sweet and really lives in her own world. This consists of fairy tales, books, films and music. She loves reading about other people’s lives, but she doesn’t believe in love.
 
This is reality after all.
 
So how will she cope when she’s into a world where the one thing she doesn’t believe is so important and knows no boundaries, and she meets the person she’s destined to be with?
