"Bye, Daddy." Chaerin choked out. She kissed her father's cheek, eyes glistening with tears. Chaerin swallowed, trying hard not to let her tears fall as she bid goodbye to her beloved father.

"Take care of yourself, Chaerin-ah, call Daddy often okay?" Her daddy hugged her tightly, trying not to cry as well. Chaerin only nodded, still in her father's embrace.

They finally let go of each other, and Chaerin walked away towards the departure gate of Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris. She waved goodbye to her only parent and proceeded to the boarding gate for her flight to Seoul, South Korea.

"I miss you already, Daddy." Chaerin whispered to herself.

For all twenty years of her life, she has been with her father, travelling all around the world, because of his work as a researcher. For the first time in her life, she has to live away from her father, her only family. He felt that it was time for her to be independent and go back to her motherland for good.

He has always regretted not giving Chaerin a normal life. Chaerin has never had friends, not because she does not want to, but because she has no chance to. She is home-schooled all her life due to her father's work nature.

The man tapped his feet in annoyance, waiting for the arrival of his daddy's old buddy's daughter. He has been waiting for half an hour now, half hour of precious time he could use to sleep. Of all the timing of the day, the girl has to arrive at 5am in the morning.

She is supposed to come out by now, he raised the cardboard spelling "FAITH LEE CHAERIN" infront of him at the crowd coming out of the arrival gate.

His attention was distracted by a girl with long straight black hair in Givenchy sweater, ripped jeans and Adidas sneakers. She was wearing her sunglasses, earpiece in both her ears; she walks with such swag and confidence. He followed her with his eyes, hiding behind his Ray Ban aviator, and realised that she was walking towards him.

She stopped infront of him, catching him in surprise. She pointed to his board, smiled slightly and said slowly in Korean, "That is me, Lee Chaerin."

"Ah," He replied, straightening himself "Lee Chaerin, welcome to Korea, I'm Kim Himchan."
