A Letter To The Moon

A Letter To The Moon
That day it was misty
White sheets covering the skies
That day rain escaped the many clouds
Like soft crystals rolling down the sky's cheeks
That day the scent in the air was unlike other days
Mixed with a bittersweet fragrance was a trail of dewy grass and flowers
That day rain drizzled upon my closed eyes
A cold and melancholic echo
That day my heartbeat was unsteady
Chaos spiraling in something called the mind
There are no words to describe
Difficult to illustrate what was happening to me
Seeking comfort troublesome
Talking hard won
Smiling with agony
Eyes filled with distress
Worry piling and swelling up
That beautiful moon high in the sky
Shimmering along the radiant stars
Far
So far
Away
Please smile
Do not feel sad
Shining brightly
Beautifully
Let the rain stop
Watch over us
Guardian of the dazzling ocean
That day was the beginning of my
Letter to the Moon
You did well...
You illuminated...
Sparkled...
Please smile...
